  1. If there's someone out there who's looking at this thread and thinking along the lines of, "These are kind of cool, but I don't know where to start," then this is the book for you. I'm surprised it hasn't sold as it's a very affordable copy of an excellent cover from the excellent Rosenberger. It's a beautifully composed drawing.
  2. Thanks, internet stranger, for buying my books. For the rest of you, thanks for nothing. (j/k, love you guys, thanks for stopping in and threadkarpping)
  3. While I have no juice in me for posting more comics, I did sell the primary books I wanted to sell. I suppose that means I owe you one hooker joke. Q: What do you call a Norwegian prostitute?
  4. Click any image below to enlarge it. Additional photos available for potential buyers. Strange Adventures #219, CGC 9.4, W, Rocky Mountain pedigree, $145. Note the date stamp. Super DC Giant #22, CGC 9.6, W, Top Guns of the West, $145. I LOVE this cover. Super DC Giant #14, CGC 9.4, OWW, from the Dallas Stephens collection, $125. Another really fun Western cover from Kubert.
  5. I do want to list a few more. My back has been out and we have a kid coming for a Roland's first ever sleepover play date. So it's a slow walking day for me. Maybe some later. Thanks for everybody who has looked.
  6. I'm out of energy, folks. Thanks for looking. I'll return tomorrow with more, probably around 10a CST. #staysafecollectors
  7. Showcase #101 and #102, both CGC 9.8, OWW and W respectively, $155 for the pair Matching pair. Bronze-age revival of Hawkman. Sold only as a pair.
  8. Iron Man and Sub-mariner #1, 6.5, $160 Bought as a 7.0. I disagree with the grade, though only slightly. I'm selling this for substantially less than I paid.
  9. Incredible Hulk 102, deslabbed CGC 8.0 (label included), COW, $275 Slight miswrap, good weight in hand, nice collectible copy at a reduced cost for wrap and PQ. Deal includes this Immortal Hulk variant cover.
  10. New rule: All threadcrapping must include a picture, complete sentence, or witticism.
  11. Hero for Hire #1, 7.5, OWW, $300 Solid copy, nice colors, not the deepest reds but nice blacks and yellow.
  12. Who can buy? Anyone not on the Probation List or the Hall of Shame can buy. Even so, I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone. How do you pay? I accept PayPal Goods and Services or Zelle. Can you make a return? I won't take a return due to buyer's remorse. If now is a bad time for you to make a purchase, don't push that bad timing onto me. Otherwise, you need to let me know within five (5) calendar days of receiving the book, as indicated by USPS tracking, and I'll gladly accept the return for whatever reason. How do I ship and what does it cost? I will ship via USPS Priority. I will take a collector's care with packaging your comic. Shipping is $8 for any number of raws, $15 for any number of slabs (or slabs combined with raws). I ship in Gemini mailers or Priority boxes, no envelopes. What else do you need to know? Payment is expected within 3 days of me invoicing you, else I reserve the right to relist the comic. in the thread trumps PM negotiations. You need to post a here whether buying a comic at the asking price or negotiating via PM. Kudos It's embarrassingly long from my manic buying and selling days, but here it is.
  13. I don't care for wwcomics super-tight bagging. Getting comics out is difficult. I have started just tearing the bag, which is easy as they're thin, and then rebagging in my Gerber sleeves and boards.
  14. Agree. And if you have raws worth slabbing, they'll get that done with the dealer discount of 20% off costs. They just deduct that from your auction proceeds, so it's easy accounting.
  15. @elibowman sold me some lovely Immortal Hulk comics. It was a good transaction all around and I'd be happy to do business with Eli again. Cheers.
  16. I finished the DC war book. I read a four part series from Warren Ellis, a steam punk thing that I didn't like. I read Lost #2 and Wynd #3
