DavidTheDavid replied to Iceman399's topic in Comics General
There is a raw deal wheel too, if you look for it on the site. And the make a stack offer, which probably helps Bob out as much as anyone. -

[CLOSED] King Comics, DC Blue Ribbon Digests
DavidTheDavid replied to DavidTheDavid's topic in Golden/Silver/Bronze Age Only
Strange Stories From Another World #2, VG+, $160 shipped SOLD! I bought this from a boardie. Not much gloss but nice colors all the same. It needs a press, but the real issue is a tide mark that runs along the back spine. It doesn't penetrate to the pages but there's some interior foxing. The centerfold is secure and the staples are rust free. I'm selling it a loss as I grade it more harshly due to the tide mark. This one pays for my kid's after school program at the local science museum. When I saw they set up a parent work area, I was in! -
Who can buy? Anyone not on the Probation List or the Hall of Shame can buy. Even so, I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone. How do you pay? I accept PayPal Goods and Services or Zelle. I need payment before the weekend is over, so before Monday is expected. Can you make a return? I won't take a return due to buyer's remorse. If now is a bad time for you to make a purchase, don't push that bad timing onto me. Otherwise, you need to let me know within five (5) calendar days of receiving the book, as indicated by USPS tracking. How do I ship and what does it cost? I will ship via USPS Priority. I will take a collector's care with packaging your comic. Shipping is $8 for any number of raws, $15 for any number of slabs (or slabs combined with raws). I ship in Gemini mailers or Priority boxes, no envelopes. An individual listing might include shipping. What else do you need to know? Payment is expected within 2 days of me invoicing you, else I reserve the right to relist the comic. in the thread trumps PM negotiations. You need to post a here whether buying a comic at the asking price or negotiating via PM. If you're buying from and shipping to Canada, the full shipping cost is needed and you must anticipate long delivery times (as much as 6 weeks, based on recent experience). Kudos It's embarrassingly long from my manic buying and selling days, but here it is.

TAKE $25 OFF! Captain Marvel, Jr. #24, 5.0, Raboy cover, centerfold and cover secure, book length crease on front cover Shipped in the USA for $150.00, to Canada for $160.00. Payment expected within 48 hours so that I can payoff my own takes here on the boards. The outdoors pic clearly shows the crease. It's not a glossy cover at all but it still has nice colors as the scan shows. The outdoor pic is just my phone's standard settings. The scan I tried to adjust settings to match what I see in hand. -
So what do you think of this direct / newsstand thing?
DavidTheDavid replied to Ablation Steve's topic in Comics General
You guys are weirdos! Weirdos! -
I have missed various copies of this comic over the months, either because someone got there first or because it was 9.2+ and cost more than I wanted to pay for this particular comic. So yeah, I'm pretty geeked to get this.
