    Recent win on My Comic Shop. So at this point I have every Dark Horse appearance of Aliens, Predator, Terminator and AVP in 9.8 (first prints) 1988-1992. Three more books to go to have all printings and variants for the same time period.

    I love Zeck remarks. Especially on this series. I should have been collecting them years ago. Better late than never I guess. Now just three more to go; issues 3-5 here I come.

    A large portion of my collection is 9.8’s or higher. The books that are graded lower is because either I couldn’t afford a 9.8 or finding a 9.8 copy wasn’t worth it to me. Keep in mind my focus is Copper to early modern age so the price point for a 9.8 is significantly lower than GA/SA/BA. Plus, anything below 9.8 in 99% of that era do not retain value and are harder to sell if that time comes.

    When you finally fill that gap in a set that took years to build. Also, when someone finally grades and puts up for sale that one book you wish you had in 9.8.

    It’s not much I know. My collecting focus isn’t Spider-man but Punisher appearances within the Spider-man storyline. Though I would like a 9.4 white page copy of ASM 50 at some point.

    😂 Issues 1-3 are solid 9.6’s but each issue has 1-2 small color breaking spine ticks unfortunately. Primer 2 is the only one that really has a shot. That would be awesome if they all upgraded to 9.8 with a clean and press. I would really want to have a good look at 1-3 in 9.8 and compare them to mine.

    The only problem with me having Primer 2 in 9.8 is then I will have to get the rest of the set in 9.8……. Well, I made it happen with my 9.8 Crow set so maybe the comic gods will smile on me once more.
