Giant Size X-Men #1 and/or X-Men 94 Club

I understand. I like that link you posted. The first 3 appearances are very easy the next two might not have a simple answer but at the very least they both tie for same month.
-
Avengers 3 specifically states that T.O.S 49 takes place before itself and it's released a month before anyway What decides the order after that and why? Whats the logic? since both books came out same month. 4/5 appearance are murky to me, but I welcome any feedback.

Bronze Marvel Hanna-Barbera
comic_memories commented on comic_memories's journal entry in MARVEL 1970's HANNA-BARBERA
No, bought it on Ebay. Had a guy who was going to sell me another 9.8 years ago but he didn't follow through. I also have an 8.5 but that's well below my minimum goal that I'm shooting for. -

Got my 3 Yogi bears Back from CGC with the following grades, Yogi Bear 3, 9.4 White, Yogi Bear 8, 9.0 White, Yogi Bear 9, 9.2 White And I managed to upgrade a Scooby-Doo 9 to a 9.8 (W) and Spotlight 4 in 9.6 (W) Happy with the results. Its getting tougher to find upgrades or missing issues. -
Real Scooby Doo first Appearance
comic_memories replied to kinzebac's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
How can it be the first ANY appearance?? That's clearly not true. This is not an ad and its not a preview, its a Scooby-Doo activity page made just for HIM and includes mention in the index. It's just Scooby without the gang. and it was probably drawn before the TV show made its CBS network debut on Saturday 13 September 1969 but i cant prove that. I realize a change like this makes some people annoyed or angry. The market didn't decide anything if collectors are unaware of a significant appearance SIX MONTHS BEFORE his perceived first Appearance. I think its very cool too and folks can decide if they care or not. The question was asked and I answered it. Those who want every appearance will also want this one. -
Real Scooby Doo first Appearance
comic_memories replied to kinzebac's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
It's a comic, listed in Overstreet and graded by CGC just a different size. Its an appearance many months before the other, its a cameo and perhaps not a first full appearance but it is the actual FIRST by the same company that will later have the first full title. The page is NOT a reprint. I have the first issue also and its definitely not the first time he is in comics, however it is the first FULL appearance -

And the winner is............ Golden Comics Digest #7. Gold Key Nov / 1969. First appearance of Scooby-Doo (solo). Pre- dates Scooby 1 by a whole bunch. -
and a Clea solo story in issue 53. I believe a first for her character?

Thats a nice copy! Personally, I think most of them are tough. Unconventional, Newstand only and not the kind of books Marvel fans would buy at the time (I know I didn't) I think most copies were well read and enjoyed by a younger crowd. With some exceptions such as first issues. Someone always hordes those. An Interesting thing about ALL the Dynomutt issues that Scooby Doo fans may not be aware of is that one story in each book is continued into the Scooby Doo Marvel title. The comments on (Dynomutt 5) CGC case should read. .... Scooby Doo Back-up Story, Continued in Scooby Doo 6.
