Thanks, 9.6 is best so far. How about 13? Someone had a healthy stash of these. So far 9 at 9.8 ! You and I appreciate how crazy high that number is for these titles and a non-first issue.

Had this for a few decades and sub'd it 2 years ago. Tough in high grade. The usual condition story of a black cover.

Identifying the Bronze Age Romance Classic Covers

For me the back cover of DC100 page Super Spectacular, DC-5 is more interesting than the front cover. -
This Week in Your Bronze Age Collection!!
comic_memories replied to TupennyConan's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Recently back from CGC. Only 2 graded and this is the best so far. Appears that if there are issues with few or no file copies of late 70's/early 80's Richie Rich's that high grade is very scarce. -

Never noticed that before. So many little quirks with the so many variants -

Bronze age comics that are heating up on eBay...
comic_memories replied to PeterPark's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Your right, 838 copies graded so far. (Someone probably had a large stash of these) It easily beats submissions of other 1974 Giant-Size first issues such as Giant-Size Spider-Man with only 380 submitted. It sells well. -

Bronze age comics that are heating up on eBay...

Some of Barry Smiths early work was pretty horrible when he tried to mimic Kirby also. Crazy distortions. DD 52, X-men 53 are good examples. Allowed to express himself with Conan and beyond he is amazing. -

Awesome!! My brother and I looked far and wide to get all the books every month with the stamps for our two MVS books, Special days. Just saw your collage for first time, Terrific job. That's really sharp. .........Now I gotta find myself a copy of that visual history book!

Beauty, hopefully another comes along soon! Getting a new scanner and then I'll post a few books that are also as scarce as this guy in my H.B. Set. Thanks for the kind words.
