Does anyone have any tips or tricks they can share to straighten out OA that may have become wrinkled, frayed, crumpled etc due to transport? Iron on low heat setting work for anyone? I have a print that came in the mail today from one of my favorite indie artists but USPS beat up the package pretty good and the artwork isn't in any condition to frame yet. Advice on this would be greatly appreciated!

It was one of the few books I would buy every time I saw it, so to go from $5 (what I would always find it at) to $23 in a short time is crazy. I have a few copies still floating around, including the two in the pic I shared earlier in this thread. You guys think I should head back to my LCS and pick up those IG 1s' for 10 ea?? I would say they're in NM-/VF+ condition. Could at least scoop up copies for fellow boardies.

I've gotten into the habit of snagging and collecting grade worthy copies of the programs whenever I attend a con. This one is the only blue label on the census from last year's Dallas Fan Day's event. I'm on the hunt for other con books if anyone has decent spares.

I picked up a pair of Spidey Campbell variants from Zacreth and they shipped lightning fast in bomb/insufficiently_thoughtful_person proof packaging. Dude's communication was topnotch too. Will purchase from him again for sure!

Howdy folks, my name is Yaw and I've posting/active on the boards for a few months after being a part time lurker and didn't realize we had an introduction thread going. I've recently returned to the hobby after about a decade absence. A good buddy of mine gave me a heads up that Marvel was killing off Peter Parker and that DC was going through a relaunch, etc so I was interested in getting back in the game. My main focus is collecting Spidey and X-Men related books along with some of the indie books that hit my radar. My Achilles heel at the moment is sketch covers as I honestly can't say no to some of the fantastic original art work I've seen on the boards and at cons. That goodness my wife supports the hobby!

Yeah, she's too skinny. I'm not sure if it's real, or just by design to make her look like an addict in a downward spiral. I'm glad it wasn't just me and I wonder the same thing since she looks downright malnourished this season. She must be one of those people that losses the "baby fat" in her face when she drops weight.

I do, however I stick to variants I can snag on the cheap... otherwise I pass.

Gotta be Spidey for me, first comic I ever read.
