Wow, Jeff & Andrew - killer copies! That is a heck of a pick-up on that #3 Andrew. Looks very sharp. And a #14 in 9.2 Jeff? Nothing more needs to be added

That new pedigreed copy of the ST Annual #2 was incredible looking. Not sure what it closed at, but I know I saw it close to 15k, which seemed really high.
I just looked since I thought it was an incredibly nice looking book as well. Hammer price was $20,600! An incredible price for an incredible book...

I think the ASM #1 CGC 9.0 is worth around $70k. So yeah it sold cheap. Nice grab for the buyer.

Some astounding numbers for Spidey last night for sure. How about that 9.0 #14 doubling it's GPA? The Molten Man has been discussed elsewhere, but that was another WOW result. It appears the new pedigree definitely brought the buyers out with deep pockets last night! The #51 for ~6K!? Wow, people must really like those CVA stickers

Bumping this thread cause there's some auctions ending soon. I got my eye on one book but I fear it's going to sky rocket within the next day.
I put in, what I thought were some very aggressive bids (significantly beyond GPA high), and they have all been shot past already.

Great 15's guys! Loving the 8.5's!
Has anyone noticed the 9.0 ASM #28 on ComicLink? Bidding is over $4k! That is crazy. I know it is a very tough book, especially past 8.5, but that blows GPA away. And while it is a very nice looking 9.0, that blows 9.2 prices away!

Beautiful pedigree copies guys! Bob Storms has a few nice pedigree books up in his ASM section. That ASM 1 looks like a beauty too! Right in the grade range I would LOVE to own

Very nice #1! If you wouldn't mind, what grade is it? ASM #1 is next up on my list. Hoping for something similar looking to a beauty like this!

Wow Andrew, what a nice looking 20!
I've looked at quite a few copies of this book the last 6 months and this looks to be as nice as any I've seen.

Giant Size X-Men #1 and/or X-Men 94 Club
in Bronze Age Comic Books
Posted
X-Men 94 is just rarer in high grades than GS X-Men 1. That commands the higher price tag. I wouldn't consider X-Men 94 the more important book by any means. I'd venture to say GS X-Men is the most important book of the bronze age, even beating Hulk 180/181. I have both books (94 & GS 1), but if I had to give one up, I wouldn't hesitate to part with X-Men 94. GS X-Men is just a must have for any bronze collector.
