Very few of these real high ratios have maintained anything close to ratio value. Yet there are always people that pay ratio when they come out.

I just went through the sold. I was expecting sub $200. The $92 would probably not be a 9.8.

Venmo is for sending money between friends. Say for instance you go out to eat, one person pays the whole check and the other can send them their portion through Venmo. People don't generally carry cash anymore.

You're talking about perceived rarity. We will never know how many were made. But more to the point it's supply vs. demand. I can get a ASM 129 or Hulk 182 any day of the week on eBay. ASM 667 variant was not regularly available in the past decade. The supply is / was not meeting the demand for a top artist and top character.

Contrary to what people have said in this thread in the past days, there are rumors, but nothing official. Oh, also Bendis did a social media post about it a month ago.

They question is when do they become "tried and true"? This book has been hot for a long time now and keeps going up.

Yea, it's dropped hard due to the massive amounts of 9.8s that have been submitted in the past couple of years. Currently about 2,600 blue 9.8s on the census. January of 2016 there were 1,500.

So tell me this, since the CGC forums will be here longer, how are they paying for this site? Or are they just getting everything for free somehow? Also, I've never said this site is just like other sites. In fact, I have made many points as to how sites all have different types of content.

I can't speak to every issue they have in the packs. I'm sure some of them are overstock. I'm talking about the variant covers that are on top of the pack that you can see. Some they did with a different logo color originally. For instance this listing. The UPC would read 11th issue, 6th cover, 1st printing. So it reads as a variant when I believe it was actually printed at a later date so it should be a later printing.

They are all later printings. They were made specifically for Wal-Mart and the UPC is not indicative of the printing like we are now familiar with. It does not use the same coding.

I agree on that front. But it seems they are usually asking for a big discount because they will pay right away. Ridiculous.
