  1. Chicken or the egg. But seriously, there was a title this year or last I believe where the 1st and 2nd print were released the same day. Edit:
  2. 'B' covers to new Wednesday books are selling for $25-50. Shark done been jumped. Here comes the crash!
  3. Wow, only one 9.8 for the whole series on the census and it's #1. Most only have a couple 9.6's.
  4. And WNA #1 hasn't had value. Passed over many before.
  5. Scout has had a couple books optioned recently too. Check the Copper section for a recently bumped thread on Warrior Nun. The Azzarello signing at Baltimore was $50 for a copy of the variant, signed by him.
  6. Dang, I just searched because I remembered reading about this on here.
  7. Yes, this book sells often so GPA is a better resource for pricing. There was one that sold for $294 a few weeks ago. But the last 4 sales have been $345 or higher.
  8. I agree. They probably had 15,000 - 20,000 attendees? And how many people to do you have a transaction with. Maybe 200?
  9. Yes, you can only sell what you have. I'm saying, walk around a con of this size and look who is there. Tons of people go to ogle comics, meet artists, get toys, etc... There are many different types of stands for different people. And there are plenty of people who can't image spending a couple hundred dollars on a book and especially not thousands. Look at the map and list of exhibitors. Many more of the other booths than there are comic dealers.
  10. I didn't submit. I feel the onsite is only worth the hassle if you have a ton of books or a lot of older and / or high dollar.
  11. These are definitely wall books. Just depends on what kind of dealer you are. Most people that attend comic cons like this are not going to be buying gold and silver age comics.
  12. Yup, that's too big of a show for all the "good stuff" to be gone in one night. I could barely get through the whole show in two days. In fact there were definitely some booths I didn't peruse.
  13. One of the hot books for the weekend was Silver Surfer #4. One dealer sold at least 8 in the first day.
  14. It's holding around $350 for a 9.8 currently. A few more months and it may drop more.

  16. That's what I wanted to know. So the prestige with the different cover was much later. Gracias
