  1. Modern '92... Yup 24 years ago can't be "Modern". Since the Golden Age, there has never been an age of comics that lasted 24 years. The ages actually got shorter: Golden Age 1938-1956 (18 years) Silver Age 1956-1970ish (14 years) Bronze Age 1970ish-1982ish (12 years) Copper Age 1982ish-1991? (9 years?) Modern Age 1992?-2016 (24 years?) well when did people name the 'copper age'? Exactly, periods are backdated to a significant event(s).
  2. I'm in the same boat. Way too much to sort through. Also doesn't help that spec sites pump these books....... Buy books other than Marvel. Problem solved.
  3. That book has been both hot and under the radar for a while now. You can still pick it up cheap, but mid to high-grade fetches good money. (two of those sales are mine). I buy this book in any grade I can find it if it isn't marked up yet. High grade is a nightmare. Yea, any of those square bound. Try and find a nice copy of Fantastic Four King Size #6.

Yes, maybe a year or two ago interested started because he was rumored for a movie I believe. Seems to be trending back up now I believe. Possibly because of new rumors about GotG 2.
  5. Civil War II # 0 1:1000 Greg Land Agents of Shield Variant $730
  6. That's a retcon, this is not. I read the Portacio X-Factor issues, Baby Nathan getting the Techno Organic Virus was very real sir. Worst origin story ever? I wouldn't even call it an origin.
  7. That's a retcon, this is not. Or a very developed baby in New Mutants.
  8. Ah, they have a special "flag" on the schedule that I missed for on-site. That's is pretty damn quick then. https://www.cgccomics.com/events/Index.aspx
  9. Easy to deal with. Hope to do business with again!
  10. It was sold at Denver Comic Con which also had on-site CGC grading.
  11. "They did it, so why can't I?" There is an unwritten rule that you don't sell something you don't have in hand. If you are going to pre-sell, make sure you are follwing the eBay rules: If you want to list presale items, you must meet all of the following criteria: Guarantee that the item will be available for shipping within 30 days from the purchase date. Be sure to clearly state this information in your listing. Clearly indicate in the listing that the item is a presale item. The handling time specified in your listing should reflect the time from the end of the listing until the item is shipped to the buyer. Be sure to specify the correct handling time in your listing. http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/pre-sale.html Lot's of sellers don't follow the 30 day rule.
  12. Im Trey! let me hear you say Aah Hang the damn phone up.
  13. This is a great analogy when you read this: If you need a flowchart to figure out who is who, it's a pretty good sign of bad writing.
  14. Ms Marvel is in the 50-60 range. What is the first appearance of Ms Khan selling for these days? But yeah, who cares... The first Muslim based Marvel superhero who is a young woman with long term implications of a movie vs. another white superboy/man. Isn't there already a Superboy? To be honest, I have no clue about the continuity of this child and place in DC. Trey, I heard this weeks cast and when I heard you mention this I was lol'ing because I heard you last week on the podcast try and scoop up a copy of the 1:25 Lois and Clark #1 from someone on the podcast!??!?!? I can kinda tell you have no clue about the continuity, and have not read the arc. If you did you wouldn't be here placing doubts into a book you praised 1 week prior. Truth be told, it's the readers that make the best speculators because they know the story better than people getting info second hand. Anyway, Jonathan Samuel Kent is not from the New 52 Universe where first, the other Superboy was from, and the other "Lois and Superman (now dead)" are from, and that is what is important. New 52 Lois and Superman are not JSK's parents, readers of the L&C series know this is a Universe Displaced Superman from the universe where Doomsday killed him (Pre-Flashpoint Superman, post Crisis Superman, basically the one John Byrne rebooted). JSK will be the new Superboy, and that is why Convergence #2 is his Uncanny X-men 201, and Superman Lois and Clark #1 is his New Mutants 87. (Variant is 1st print, and regular cover is equivalent to the NM 87 2ng Print Gold) Loved the podcast this week though, great listen. Eradicator is the other Clark BTW. I know you were wondering who that was. I'm not Trey

To be honest, I have no clue about the continuity of this child and place in DC. there has never been a Superboy that was the legitimate born son of Superman in continuity. Normally it's a clone, or a future what if type story or Superman as a boy. I think it's very important canon wise. Ah, OK. Thanks.

  17. I'm still trying to figure out who the people are that really care? Superman has been in the 40-50 range in sales rankings.
  18. This has been quietly rising in price since the April lows. Spider-Man Deadpool #1 Gamestop
  19. Details about RARE We Can Never Go Home #1 Ardden publishing
  20. Who buys any inflated "speculation" book. You would have an easier time figuring out why water is wet. Both cases, don't know, don't care.
