  1. Hey Whetton, any reason you blocked the Turok listing?
  2. Iron Man 304-05 Hulk Buster appears to public silver Surfer #44, looks like only one solo copy for sale
  3. Green label yes. That being said I have seen many detached staples on blue label books in the 6.0-7.0 range. Hmm, thought it was an automatic 4 or less. I'm no where near knowing what I'm talking about though.
  4. 1st Walking Dead preview. Edit: that and Capes 1. For some reason Capes demands more.
  5. I think I'm reading this wrong. You can get a 9.4 with a detached bottom staple?
  6. They are Moderns that are heating up. I know, why here of all threads?
  7. Always thought that was him. Me and one blind guy agree.
  8. Huh? What? It's hallowe'en. I thought we were pranking this guy. I think the watching is a harmless prank. The bidding and retracting not so much.
  9. Oh yea, it's settled. First time in these boards? Anyway, that's reads like an origin story to me. That doesn't mean it's her first appearance. Except Gambit wasn't on the cover of the X-Men Annual #14, that probably was a big influence with what book became the market favorite. Besides, from the text we now see inside Avenging #9, it's without a doubt Marvel acknowledges Captain Marvel #1 won't come out until a week after Avenging #9 and even makes note of it. He wasn't?
  10. /co/.... ..,//co/.... It must have gotten lost in The Fappening posts.
  11. You sold it too soon, noob. It was already in the ComicLink auction, jerkus Still sold it to soon, rookie....... BTW, what grade did that Ms. Marvel #1 you bought off of me in Calgary come back at - was it a 9.6? 9.4 Should've told him it was the 9.8. Why stop there, 9.9 ha
  12. Now these are some Moderns I can get behind! They're like a bad Bee Gees. Yes, I guess that can exist.
  13. +1 I agree. Stop talking about Moderns Heating Up and get back to the bickering.
  14. You sold it too soon, noob. Cash in hand! Buy a new one in 6 months for $350.
  15. I like this plan, which book? My first thought was Turok #1, which you probably can't avoid finding in cheap bins if you tried. Viewed newly listed auction for maximum time to accumulate watches and picked one from someone that expects far too much: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turok-Dinosaur-Hunter-vol-1-no-1-July-1993-/151460403201?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item2343be5801 Great pick! 16. And so, you apply the necessary statistical analysis to account for these, but they are still valid data points. Agreed, but when you make a broad statement that the market is "correcting itself" by using one instance, that is not a proper method of review. The "market rate" would be considered an average of the whole, which that particular sale would be included in. But the sale 10 days ago for $400 would also be included in that range.
  17. Most probably follow GPA and price a book a little higher than the previous sale. If the market shows resistance then they lower the asking price. I'm not sure what drove the $529 asking price. That was a MCS listing that had been there for a while, I believe. MCS pricing is usually out of left field compared to market prices. For example...
