  1. Great pick! I've only managed one copy of that so far, you gotta figure over 90% of them were thrown away I bought every copy I could find online two years ago. MCS had a bunch in NM for 1.10. Did Direct Currents come out before Sandman 67? Can't find a date for it online.
  2. Didn't know the Tron was as popular. Looks like it goes for about $100. Edit: sells for about $70, BINs are listed at $100.
  3. This puppy comes out this week and would not be surprised if it saw some uptick.
  4. Oh, this is going to be good. What is that? 1st black costume in the SSM title? Yes. It's curious how that relevant part was left out of the "auction" description. I'm missing something. Someone has a credible argument that SSM 90 predates SW 8 or ASM 252 or MTU whatever? What am I missing? Really stretching, but it is his first appearance in Spect. SM in the black costume. I like 89 better myself:
  5. And here I thought I was reading correctly when I came into the "heating up" thread.
  6. Close and this book is sought after for that reason and one other combined. I think he was going for the first "impressive" appearence. The #28 seems more impressive than the "stay off my lawn" window appearance Ha, nice. Yes, but the topic is question was first cover appearance. We can argue that we like Spider-Man #1 as the best cover but that doesn't make it more valuable than pretty much an ASM from the original run.

  8. I think we all know the answer to that one by now. Well, there are two answers I guess depending on who you ask.
  9. Again, its the first cover appearance where she isn't depicted as disembodied floating head. No one is suggesting you chase the book. By that logic stock up on Warlock 15 because it's Gamora's 1st cover appearance Not a bad thought honestly but she's barely on it and this book is front and center. It's also a lot more readily available as opposed to her first appearance. Meanwhile Strange Tales 180 and 181 aren't that hard to find.
  10. Yea, I think it points more towards the readership of comics. I'm sure there are a decent number of women buying Harley and some just use comics to escape from the real world. If people really read comics for the writing there would be a lot more Image comics in the top 20, IMO.
  11. Nov. Harley > TWD by 3k Oct. TWD > Harley by 1k keep going back and be sure to add in 2nd,3rd,4th,and 5th prints. I'm just picking TWD because it's Images best and because the Harley series kinda looked down upon by many. Just seems funny how the numbers tell the real story. Why would I add all of the different printings together, they are different books? August TWD > HAR 300 July HAR > TWD 4k Neither is easily outselling the other.
  12. Nov. Harley > TWD by 3k Oct. TWD > Harley by 1k
  13. They said they are making a new MIB without Will Smith. Could still be a crossover. Most of those seem legit.
  14. Out of curiousity where do you obtain the "pre-cut cardboard that fits perfectly"? You have to buy it. Uline sells it, but I get it from a local guy who owns a postal services store, at about half the price. It's 9" x 12", pre-cut. Now that's perfect. Yea, check Uline. They also sell so you can get cross cut pieces. Even harder to bend a sandwich. My gf always gives me when I grab spare boxes. Wait till I show her how many more crazies there are! (When I say gf I mean Real Doll)
  15. I checked that also. The two Flash books are consistent numbers wise with months surrounding it. The stories don't seem to tie in which is pretty typical of an annual, being a standalone story. And Flash 22 from the same month is seeing no movement.
  16. Probably the flash tv show Not sure what that would have to do with this comic.
  17. Trying to categorize everyone under one situation is never going to work. I don't use a CC to buy gifts most of the time. The biggest thing to consider is there are very few cons from Thanksgiving until January.
  18. Offices & retail stores. If you live in an apartment that has a recycling room, there is a ton of it. Aside from the regular cardboard boxes that are delivered on a daily basis, people move in quite regularly using nice sturdy boxes. I've scored some nice TV boxes from mine. That stuff is thick!
