  1. Still only 6 non-big two in the top 100.
  2. Which is the chance you take when you don't price your books high enough. Seems like great prices to me compared to a year ago.
  3. Limited to 500 I believe and they were allocated to retailers without any prior knowledge. Not all retailers of course.
  4. I had one X-Force 2 that was from off the stand. Had no problem picking lots more up, even passed on some on the cheap.
  5. People don't know where to look though. How many times do we see people paying higher in auctions than BINs available?
  6. Did you look or were you waiting for someone else to do the work for you? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=361101763016
  7. If that's all that she appears in #14 it would be a cameo. 1 panel and unnamed. And ygogolak is always wrong.

  9. Just sold mine for $1 in the selling forum. These boardies are sleuths.
  10. 1st Kamala Khan is Captain Marvel # 14. Unnamed. Is this the issue where she is in her dorm room on the last couple of pages and they don't even show her, just her arm or something? There is no dispute here. Captain Marvel #14 is the 1st Appearance of Kamala Khan. In the series, Khan takes the name Ms. Marvel from Carol Danvers, who now goes by the alias Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel writer Kelly Sue DeConnick revealed that Khan actually made a brief appearance in Captain Marvel #14 (August 2013) saying, "Kamala is in the background of a scene in Captain Marvel 14... She is very deliberately placed in a position where she sees Carol protecting civilians from Yon-Rogg."[5] About Khan's relationship with Danvers, Wilson said http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ms._Marvel_(Kamala_Khan) Captain Marvel #17 - 1st Appearance of Kamala Khan as the New Ms. Marvel Um, who's disputing what? The first word in my reply is "Unnamed", which is exactly the situation you just described.
  11. Slabbed? Not much of a return on that is there? #1 is such a common book though. Yes, but when you have to buy them and pay for them to get graded then sell them at $35 there isn't much room for profit.

  13. Bingo Some books I agree, some books don't have a 10.0. That is how CGC views it. I understand that they have to have some type of system that can be applied across the board to all books. My view however is that a 10 would be the best book ever produced. If all the books are produced cut in half but one makes it out only 1/4 of the book missing, that is the 10. This would be impossible to implement however.
  14. together = one continuous story. Comic books are released once a month, these two issues go together and were released in the same month. The are the issues of those books, for July. apart = 7 days apart, avenging spider-man on its existing release day, captain marvel on its brand new release day Wow, is this a serious comment?
  15. Man that brings back good memories. I hope that cover isn't overly expensive. Very funny. Who? Donnie Darko comic now?
  16. My opinion is how can it get better than when it comes off the production line? If it was messed up on the line it's still a 10.0 when it gets to the end because that was the best produced. The problem is nobody is standing there watching each batch that comes off for quality control. Either that or you have an opinion that some books don't have a 10.0.
  17. New Moderns are notorious for bindery tears on larger books, more pages. The have chosen to not upgrade cover stock and this causes tears. Walking Dead 127 & ASM #1 were two biggies that I remember recently. More akin to Copper is ASM 361. I've seem a lot of ones that have a bottom staple that appears loose based on the cover. One hole of the bottom staple is larger that it should be like it was jostled. I didn't think it was recognized until recently but I believe it has been recognized as a production defect.
  18. Another one worth picking up is the Barry Smith art Conan treasury. Reading it with those huge pages is just incredible. I wish they did Steranko Shield and Starlin Warlock ones back in the day Wow, yes, agreed!
