  1. Thief of Thieves I am Pretty Sure is being optioned whether to AMC or Amazon..whatever. It is a better series and I like the different arcs . Kirkman has stated stated went Walking dead was near the end one of his other works with a complete different genre was one he always wanted to help produce. Anyway lets keep it to Moderns heating up, Batman's unit aside

  6. I can attest that it was easier buying books off of newsstands for me than in the local shops in the mid to late 1980s (We had 3 Comic Shops in my Neighborhood. )From 1984-1988 I delivered newspapers before and after school in NY. 11-15 Years old. We lived a few Blocks North of Hells Kitchen and My area was apartments and some retail stores Tuxedo Shop, Hi-Fi, Florist,.... and a Comic Shop (Comics for Sale on Columbus between 72-77th z( not sure what address. ) NY had Morning and evening editions.. So I can tell you that Newsstand is where most books of mine came from even though I delivered Evening papers to a Comic Shop (Comics for Sale). Pauly the Newsstand Guy who also got his papers after school at the same place (1 Bundle each) He read Comics while he worked, He ALWAYS had books. Books were 1.00 then and I even would use my Subway tokens that my parents gave me to buy books. So I have such a Mix but Here is the Kicker. Comic shops had Limits (not that I could afford Multiples) usually no more than 2. Secret Wars for example some later issues Including 8 I couldn't get in the COMIC Shop. Probably Gone by then. By 1986 After this went on the Pauly the Newsstand Guy Saved me Multiples or anything. He was a Good Dude. Probably Has 50 ASM 300s Stashed away somewhere... Just a Story to share
  7. Sorry I should be clear. That Turnaround is Awesome. I do have a few I was planning on Re-slabbing (Ill have a Presser look at them) They are Getting Old.
  8. I have a Gabrielle Del'Otto Pre-Lim Cover for Fear Itself. I Got it in a trade yesterday with a Guy For some of My own Art and a Book (Nothing too Crazy) While a fan or OA (Obviously) and Usually get commissions and Pages from artists directly. What is the Opinion on Cover Pre Lims? I Recognized who it was just by looking at the Sketching. It is Obvious who it is.
  9. I actually found a guy in Iowa 5 years a go. He was a painter, house builder in the late 60's early 1970s with 4 to 8 each of some Silver goodies. Silver surfers, Giants sized and stuff, Tales of Asgards. mostly big books but some Tales of ... or Starnge tales he had 4 Boxes and milk crates with multiples ended about 1973-74 ( No No IM 55, ASM 129, HOS 92...) But SS full runs. He used Comic books as Wallpaper designs and Probably destroyed Hundreds of thousands of dollars in books designing little Timmy Johnsons room in Des Moines. I bought all silver surfers from him multiples only graded 2 sold low graded ones SS1 got a 6 but ss 4 got a 7.5. I may be grading 2 and 3
