By far this is a very informative and reassuring thread. Ok i have a JIM 83. I think I am going to send it to mike @ hero restorations. It is a blue 1.0 maybe 1.5 that is not as sweet as a full restore.. it can also save the book. VALUE is subjective with restos tbh. Like a say if it is a Key Silver or high end gold below a 2. Id Restore it..2.0 or above (only a small handful a books mind you) id probably be ok. Im talking Marvel AF 15, spiderman 1, Jim 83, avengers 1, hulk 1, tos 39, tta 27 . Im would never purchase or have the 1nd tier silvers restored.

Good Morning, here are a few books... I have a few Marvel giant 25 cents raw copies.
Marvel Super-Heroes #18 (Guardians of The Galaxy) ... in GD/GD+ cond, c/ow pages. Some black marker scribbles up on top of front cover. Lot of cover wear and some creases. You can see that in photo obliviously. Asking for $35.00

Pretty Book, Very few spine ticks Sharp corners, all positive. However under the Banner is that just a crease or a tear an don the back above Frankenstein the word on the bottom left looks like a tear. Probably a 4.5 depending on those tears or color breaks.

Good looking 4.0

Looks slighty restored but a good looking book. 6 ish Spine ticks ok, a few color breaks on the top left blue. Green at base looks like it bled or sundamages but White is crisp and corners solid. Back cover looks amazing.

I have an SS 4 Graded 7.5 Case is Probably at least 6-7 years Old. Looking at it, I think it could use a Press. Two Questions
1. As this is a Bigger book, Does pressing work well?
2. If I press and Resubmit What fears do I have. Ill be Shippping an SS 1, SS3 and FF 48 ith it so I am a Bit Nervous.. That is $500 in Grading/Pressing fees
