  1. FWIW, I like your thread, not so much for the content, which is outside my wheelhouse, but the layout and information is great.
  2. A preposition is something you should never end a sentence with.
  3. The lack of any work experience (relevant or not) is going to be a big negative for you going forward. Employers do not want to see gaps in employment history, so you really should consider any job whether you're overqualified or not. At least for the time being. There's also the service, although you are getting on in years and I don't know what the age cutoff is for the Canadian military. *Note: I am not a trained or qualified guidance counselor.
  4. Other than the race card, this post smacks of all kinds of -isms. Apologies, I don't know how to migrate the quote http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7701134&fpart=209
  5. Ask him to send the books, and then offer to pay upon receipt, inspection and satisfaction.
  6. Learn to use the comma and you shall get the respect you seek
  7. I did PM him, but not 72 hours ago. I'll wait till the time has elapsed, not that I think it will matter in the slightest. Premature eNomination, CKK. Happens to the best of us. Next time just think about baseball or Rosie O'Donnell.
  8. It's kind of like if Macauley Culkin was in Twilight
  9. It was sheathed, buffered and sent media mail. Check back later
  10. Don't forget to factor in mu*102 to account for the sheathing constant. It's a common mistake.
  11. Reminds me of the PP personal discussion, only different.
  12. Wow. Nice lynchmob that you guys have instigated here. Kind of obscene, actually.Considering NONE of you but one guy has actually bought anything from me.He isn't saying I did him wrong, either.YOu all....KPR and Harvey with his 9.9 digs (way to pull up totally unrelated mess, the pair of you two.)Congrads on making me look like a . He'll ( the buyer) get what he paid for. It's really nice how I am being called, virtually a lying slimebag, when I have not actually screwed anyone over.Check my kudos thread and the 102 positive feedbacks I have on eBay, not this seething pile of totally unrelated anecdotes that you have went on some kind of full on rage fest, right here. And also. cheers for slandering my character, when you have had absolutely NO DEALINGS with me whatsoever. All I can offer the buyer is an apology and a full refund OR the book. I'll ship this slab out in the morning, as the buyer has not told me that he wants a refund. Jimmers will get his free Sick magazine shipped out then, as well.I'll throw in a couple other Sick free mags with the RAK for Jimmers. No hard feelings on my end,KPR. I hope that Jim and Juan don't hold any grudges, either. FTR, I don't think you're a scammer and I'm sure you will eventually get the book out.
  13. wildly_fanciful_statement. You continually pimp yourself on here as the world's greatest grader, shipper etc. constantly breaking rules in sales threads, replying to WTBs with irrelevant info. And now you have the gall to say he got a good price and so 30 days is ok to wait. Seriously, WTF man? I am officially calling BS and declaring shenanigans.
  14. Just don't get him wet or feed him after midnight. At least that's what I was told.
  15. I was commenting on the idea of someone requesting to be contacted if the deal falls through. Don't see an issue with people lining up. (thumbs u
  16. That can be achieved by listing the other book or noting that hey, I have another copy if anyone is interested. Otherwise, comments like "Deal of the day!" are just tits on a bull.
