Nice books rahigh!
The yellow hair on that girl against that purple/pink background has always made issue 201 one of my fav covers!

Thanks, I picked up a HOM lot recently and the 290 was the star of the bunch!
Just a little discoloration above the 0 in 50 cent mark.

The cover story was really warped...
That is a cool cover!
There are nice covers artwise, then there are nice covers that pique your interest about the subject matter or story. This being one of those, I need to know why they are praying to that dead astronaut!

Yeah, you can see they changed it from # 95, someone on staff probably said it took up too much real estate on the cover and had it redrawn a bit smaller.

The title used to be "The Madhouse Glads" untill these three issues, then they went back to humor storylines again. They just dipped their toe in horror!

Yep! A lot of the time it's the "cheapies" that are the toughest to find cause there's no demand...yet.

it still blows my mind that a title with art by Frank Miller & Marshall Rogers along with countless others would be kicked aside like that. It was in previous guides. And now even still, there is no artists note following the listing
Could it be because it was a crossover genre, War/Horror? Maybe no one knew how to classify it and it simply fell through the cracks. I was drawn to it as a horror title myself having WEIRD being the first and prominent word in the title! Still one of my favorites along with HOM, HOS, WMT, WH, Unexpected & Ghosts.

it boils down to 1. priorities for my family and 2. the need to help out my mum. Trust me, they ain't going cheap, but I'm hoping a fair price. I mean, if I turn down a HOM 224 CGC 9.4, something's wrong
Hate to hear someone selling their collection in this type of situation but as you said "priorities". I hope the help you're giving your mum is for financial and not health related (hope she's OK). Here's to hoping it all works out for ya and that you can keep some of your more prized books!

HOS 105
One of my faves, I think it's the misty background that does it for me. If you were ever out far from shore in a little boat fishing when the fog rolls in you would know what I mean!

I will try to remember, thanks

I love those Witching Hours. Looks like I'll have plenty of duplicates in the 1-20 range in no time. Those 20 center copies appear more elusive than I had hoped...
Would any of them be for sale? I'm looking for a VF+ NM WH # 7.

Hey Weird, that was probably me who mentioned the weird war #72, i have been championing that one for awhile.Glad you found one! I can't believe they even did that then! The 62 is a great cover too, its sort of the reverse of that image.
Very intriguing cover here, it took a second look to see the POWs holding needle and thread. I definitely want to know what they intend to do!

Beautiful books rahigh, art, grade & QP
That Weird War # 15 is simply stunning I MUST now seek a copy out for myself!
Got a 9.2 from Doug Sullipa on the way! I just got his order this week--awesome books, high gloss--simply superb!
I'm on his mailing list too and got that e-mail list that you were griping about some books already being "snatched up". When I received it there were too many goodies to choose from so I decided to wait, now I'm sure it's been picked clean.

# 304 I love this cover (don't know why exactly) but I think it's that crazy funhouse.
