  1. Sounds good. How will I know who you are? Should I wear a badge that says, "HI! I'm tricolorbrian!"?

I've never even seen that Lois 106. It came out after I quit buying the title. Hmmm....might have to look for one of those. I would have bought more of the cheap Jimmy's but i didn't have my list with me and wasn't sure which books I needed. Probably all of them... lol Well, anyway...it was a fun little show. See the Gold forum for the 3 holy grails I picked up there.

Oh yeah...I read the main story in #60...absolutely nauseating... :roflmao: I just can't read Jimmy's anymore...but the covers are so stupid they're cool. :applause:

  2. Sorry,I was too lazy to pull down my Gerber books.plus,I like being friendly and finding stuff out by starting conversation. There is an advert for Target volume.1 no.1 in one of my DickCole comics, but no price shown.

I have not seen the price like that very many times,it is new and interesting to me.

    :foryou:

    Jimmers

lol PM sent. When I wrote DickCole with a space it came out spoon Cole, so I fixed it, but now i see what you did... :roflmao:

  3. I thought that was it, but the "I" on the end confused me. Here's the website, but it hasn't been updated since 2003...someone told me Roter got in trouble over something...don't know if that is true and i don't want to spread a rumor if it isn't...maybe they were just referring to the BS way he treated collectors when they wanted to buy from him. There's a whole thread on him and he doesn't sound like Mr. Nice Guy... I bought a couple books from him in the early 90s. Graded very well...and they were priced right...guess things changed...

  4. Sorry to interrupt the auction news, but I finally found a genuine Okajima in my collection, so add this to your list of post '44s. Purchased from Ron Murray in 1998:

Nice one. Seems like a relatively common issue. St Johns are funny in that you see a lot of copies of some issues and almost never see others. I guess it may have been due to their spotty distribution and maybe a warehouse find or two. hm

I've noticed that too, especially in the Teen-age romances run and Wartime romances - issues 6, 10, 12, and 14 always show up...
