i saw those lots too and have paid attention to cards-n-comics because of their location (possible 35 cent Marvel price variant indirect source) They hve nice books, but IMO do not undergrade enough to warrant "betting" the money you piad for the 4 lots I was going for 2 specifically and the bid history will tell you what I thought was a decent price paid for the lot vs. what I thought I could flip them for in the market today. Keep in mind that we came off of Halloween where the ebay market was just FLOODED with HOMs, HOs, Ghosts, Unexpected, horror CRIZZAP up the wazoo - while great for fillers, not worthwhile to the HG chasers who pay big bucks for the slabbed copies. So I guess it depends on who you want to cater to? The reason they were in lots is that those books sell best in lots unless you individualize and set a NM or CGC 9.4 next to it

what you are doing with that Whitman list is great. Makes it easier for variant collectors. I remember talking about these with you a while back. There are several enthusiasts on this board and as long as you don't get psycho premiums paid for these books, you'll be able to keep some variant haters off your back.

I'lldo what I can to help. I'm unloadnig the majority of my Whitmans to friendly_andy. We have a deal in place, but I'll try to scan some on here. and you won't have to do to much scan "retouching" to get them to NM ...you kill me... purple labelled scans!

Already got greggy's reaction to it last night. Yes they are not as nice as his "sweet sweet DCs" but I have serious doubts about ever finding some of these books in true NM shape. Sure the Superheroes are easy candidates but the obscure and reprint titles are pretty hard to come by (although Dan seems to have plenty of them in his set )based on the way they were tossed into bargain bins or reprints read again and again instead of damaging their pristine key copy from the original title.
