So what's the precedent here?

 

If we claim something and it's suggested our follow up offer will get a veto, instead of getting a strike we can rescind the offer, unless the veto comes within a few minutes of us retracting our offer or of course if people just don't like you?

 

Why is retracting an offer even allowed at all anyway? If you post a bad offer take your lumps like others have and will. Or I guess we can have a system that gives free passes to some people who get tips and warnings before the original offerer gets a chance to post the veto, I guess that's fair too.

I think the rules are made to encourage people who make weak offers to improve them, to avoid getting a strike. Rather than to allow people to make weak offers and hope someone takes it, but still having the option to rescind the weak offers to avoid a strike.

I've opened a dispute on Paypal. So we'll see what the response is. Then I'll go to claim if things don't move quick. Looking more like Lucky is gonna disappear.

Update: based on the discussion on this thread, I've escalated the dispute to claim. So I'm done with Lucky.

Did you contact him? I haven't received my book from Lucky either. But it hasn't been 30 days, it's been twenty. But it sounds like it's time to open a Paypal case.

That's a good point ebtorres, I wasn't sure if this was within the rules. But since fmaz had given multiple offers, without taking any, I thought it might be allowed. Plus it gave people a reason to hang around, to see if they could grab some nice comics. Next RAK will be up for grabs.

Look…I found some Batman!!! RAK alert!!!

 

For those not in the know, today is Batman Day, celebrating 75 years of Batman. In honor of today, DC has released a free copy of Detective Comics #27. This is a reprint of not only the latest #27 in the current "New 52" Detective Comics, but it also reprints the first story from the original Detective Comics #27, the first appearance of Batman.

 

So since some people on here are probably not able to get to a place that had them for giveaway, I will disperse 4 copies here. Only one per person and please only take one if you were unable to get one from anywhere else.

Pick one of the full runs from the list below and then I'll fill the rest of the box with other Spidey-related limited series, one shots, etc. No reason to waste space in a flat rate box!
