Come on you can tell us you did you jump up and down. I did a little...mentally. My LCS has a couch right inside the doorway (it's very therapeutic). The owner listened to me babble on about how great the movie was and how, at the time, I thought The Phantasm was going to change the world of Batman. Good times.

Is one better than the other? When I was a kid, I bought the VHS copy of MOTP. It came with a mini comic adaptation (with the cardstock cover). I was never aware that this was available in full size format. It was an exciting find for me. As far as The Phantasm goes, she was in a couple of issues of Batman Adventures and Batman Beyond, and not much else I can think of. My favorite appearance is Batman and Robin Adventures Annual, which is basically a "sequel" of sorts to Mask of The Phantasm.

Today's LCS $1 bin pickups. Honestly I was more stoked to find the Mask of The Phantasm adaptation. It brought back a TON of Animated Series memories (and MOTP is still the best Batman movie ever made).

I went to my LCS today. The owner had just acquired a few longboxes and offered to let me look through them before he did a full inventory of what he'd purchased. I got these for $1 per book. The 17's not in the best of shape, but for a buck I couldn't just leave it.

I was able to get these for $7. I was pretty happy, especially with the Det. 583. The books are in pretty good shape, the creases are on the bags (they've been rebagged since).

I've got a couple of things in the works to build my Bane art collection. I picked this up off eBay. As I can't see myself getting lucky enough to get a Jim Balent Bane sketch cover, this will have to do for now.

Only statue I own, and it's Bane. Holding my breath for a PF Bane...

My first commission. I picked this up at Dallas Comic Con in October. I can see how this can become easily addicting. Graham Nolan pencils/inks. 11x17
