  2. So this just happened to me. I am a programmer and the only way this kind of change takes more than a couple of days is if they hired a team to build the website and then walked away with no one to maintain it. Seriously this is such a cop out blaming technology. Even if they don't think they have the storage capability, adding storage is super cheap and the code change would be minimal, you just have to have at least one guy to do it.
  3. CGC, My order # CGC4914949266 Economy has disappeared from my submission status page. It had previously been visible since Jan 2022. Can someone please look into why? Thank you, Jacob

  6. Ummm, I will bite what is a PED? Is it short for pedigree? If so how would one use it, and why is that a problem?
  7. This is my first grading contest, are they always so eventful? Also does anyone know what happened?
  8. One more thing, the War Action #2 looks to me like full spine readers crease. I usually thing of these as 8+ inches of creases which in my calculation is max 4.5. This maybe the first one I have seen with that defect get a 6.0! In fact the Hulk #3 in the first round had the same readers crease and was a 4.0.
  9. Everybody seemed to have trouble with the X-Men #101, yet I feel like I am the only one who graded lower on it with an 8.0... I caught that hard to see color breaking crease in the bottom right corner but I thought it looked 1" and thus max 8.0.
  10. So is the consensus that because the Sub-Mariner was 8.0 because of "light staining", but if it had been graded "light foxing" it would of been 9.0 or higher?
  11. I really struggled with the Batman Annual #10. How much do you guys take of or max grade for that full spine color rub? I graded at 6.0
  12. Oh man this book is looking to be a s**t show. Now I am really confused about the stain on the arm, it wasn't there then it was resubmitted with it, now its gone.
  13. I learned that I should stick with just the facts. I would of been top 10 if I had stuck with my original grades based on just defects I saw. When I went and looked at graded compatibles, the eye appeal that I use as a collector made me slew higher. In particular I would of nailed the TEC #32, and the Hawkman #1. The Hawkman #1 still gets me because there are 6.5's out there with 1 detached staple! Seems like most people also thought 6.5 on that book so I don't feel so bad.
  14. Clyde Cadwell I believe. I loved the Forgotten Realms books as a kid. Edit: Proof - https://orkerhulen.dk/legendary-d-amp-d-artists
  15. Thanks for the clarification, it wouldn't of changed my grade anyways because I had the staple stress and creases lower than a stain anyways.
  16. Is it me or was the stain/color rub on the cops arm to the left of the cuff links on TEC #32 removed? Should we assume the grade is after a cleaning?
