  2. Thank you for the quick response. I only do comics, I have emailed accounting.
  3. I have submitted two orders since signing up for my Premium membership. I just got billed for the second order and the $150 has never been applied. I am pretty sure I even wrote it on my second submission. Am I missing something, was there a code I was supposed to use? Thank you
  4. Not sure how this applies if it was only available via direct. I thought we were talking price/valuation differences between the two.
  5. If you read that thread they are "slightly more desirable", I am referring to what to me seems to be the massive price differences we are seeing now. Sure 10-25% premium okay. 500% premium???
  6. I was really young at this time so don't remember it, do you have an example comic where it mattered at this time? Not trying to argue generally curious because I didn't know it was a thing that far back.
  7. Curious how long you have seen it going on. I would say its been going on since 2020, maybe 2019.
  8. Agreed there wouldn't be high prices for these rare newstands without the damand. I am trying to say I personally think the current demand for "rare because it has a upc code and this other exact same thing doesn't" will be short lived.
  9. I am saying its not necessarily that newstands are always rarerer. It depends on the era and the book. Which one is the better investment is up to you. Hard to predict the future. I will say I personally thing the obsession with rarity is kind of a bubble right now. Rarity is like the supply side of "supply and demand", but really what is the demand for a upc symbol vs a direct logo? I feel like people are over emphasizing rarity right now, and ignoring demand.
  10. Not that simple of a question. During certain time periods newstands were rarer, and during others it doesn't matter. The 90's is the time period most are looking for newstands, there were 10,000 comic book stores with lots of inventory (direct). Very few were in 7 elevens or grocery stores (newstand). 90's image had very few newstands. Honestly I think this newstands craze is a bit wacky. I find it hard to believe that there is a 2k difference between Spawn #1 direct vs newstand.
  11. You should consider "declared value" to be "insured value". If CGC should ruin your book how much do you want for it. You can use Fair Market Value, but I will tell you I think a lot of people don't and just take more submission risk. For Fair Market Value: Ebay sold listings. GPA GoCollect ComicsPriceGuide
  12. Its Sat 2021-04-17 @ 2:06 pm CST. When I go to submission tracking it says I haven't submitted anything for 18 months, that isn't true. Anyone else having issues?

  14. I am starting to be concerned that something is wrong with my Modern Order #CGC2924636640, it has been 54 or 56 business days and no update since it has been received. Can you check please?
  15. I think this is correct. They are definitely updating the days based of what they are currently working on. Its now either business day 52 or 54 (depending on which calculator I use), nowhere near the 43 days that was posted the day my submission was "received".
