  1. I figured it be that and or romance
  2. Hey, rainy day here in NY, thought CG would be the best place for a challenge like this (may fall flat, but what the heck, I'll go for it anyway) Post a cover with a cup of coffee or coffee urn/ perculator, or coffee shop / diner on it. How many are out there?
  3. Tom Sutton, Charlton's MVP in the genre. Can't think of another horror cover of the period with so much gore. But if there is another, any of the more seasoned in this area please post!
  4. Thanks Jayman! Bought raw cheap recently and came back this grade. And 9.0 to 9.2 are solid grades for these. If luck out with 9.4 and higher, of course ill take em, but dont have to be those grades. Not too much of a window to keep snagging alot of these with this approach as these are heating up as alternative to PCH (though high grade particular Bernie and Adams covers are fetching good money). But I'll keep getting while the getting good for now
  5. I can understand that. A high grade 'meh' cover or very 'nice presenting' cool cover? I'll take the latter
  6. Maybe cheap, but you always seem to score such high grade copies of these Congrats! Are they file copies?
  7. First of the 8 issues of this promo comic series tie in that featured Looney Tunes characters. Woody Woodpecker, D*ck Tracy and Orphan Annie among others were also featured. I have 7 of the 8 LT issues, the last issue #30 (1947) featuring Porky Pig has been a beast for years, i cannot locate that book
  8. ..I had heard one of the items was his copy of Our Flag Comics #5? I think he posted it raw in the Ace thread a ways back, but it wasn't in the CC auction.
