Annndddd a day later we are at Grading/QC

I sent 1 book for the Perez signing. Once it was cancelled per the email I choose to have it graded in a blue label. Here are my dates. No pressing. Delivered to CGC via USPS 1/7 Marked received 1/17 SFG 1/17 Grading/Encap/imaging 2/2 Fast movement but I wonder how long it will sit in GEI

I like to look in the $1-$5 boxes. I’m not looking for gold or something to flip however. I do it to fill runs for reading and just for my collection in general.

My book was received on Jan 7th. I sent it in super early. Maybe they are going in order? They gave four options. Hopefully you get your email soon. If you are curious I can message you the email contents

I opted to have my New Teen Titans #2 that I sent in for the Perez signing to be graded universal per CGCs email. It was switched from in house signing to modern a couple days ago. It will be a nice Xmas present when I get it back in December (maybe)

Same. Just hit my card yesterday. They said they will be issuing refunds but lord knows how long that will take.

Yeah I’m bummed. But I hope he pulls through this infection and gets to spend time with his family and friends.

I agree, the silence by CGC is crazy. Not really surprised though, with the silence on the crazy QC issues, never updating or being transparent on when signing are actually taking place etc.

Update Flash Vol 5 #777, 778 Ice cream man #27, 28. Loving this series so weird yet each issue pulls me in. Defenders vol 6 #5 5 issue mini Meh glad it’s over Moon knight Vol 9 #7 Great Art, good story. Liking this one Death of dr strange #4, #5. Not a bad 5 issue mini Hulk vol 3 #3. Still on the fence with this. Might give it a few issues. Batman Vol 3 119, 120 Great Art, Great writer! (Love Williamsons work). Venom vol 5 #4 same as the hulk not hooked yet. Saga #55 it’s Saga, what more can you say great double size issue after a crazy three year break love this book. BKV said in the letter section this will go to 108 issues! Newburn #3 Not a bad little crime book I like Chip Zdarskys work but I’m not 100% sold on this one yet Nocterra #7. Love the art (Tony S Daniel) and I like most stuff by Scott Snyder. Great book 64/1000

Per George Perez’s Facebook he is in the hospital the the signing is being postponed indefinitely. Not sure if Cgc has officially postponed it or not. I wish him well

29-38 Cat woman Vol 5 (Ram V). Decent story, nothing to write home about. Art was pretty good. I liked it, stopping there at 38 as the writer and arc is changing and I only wanted to read it for Ram V. 109-118. Batman vol 3 I really liked the art. The story was pretty good imo. 1036-1045 Batman Detective Comics Vol 3. They changed artist mid way through this batch to Viktor Bogdanovic and wasn’t a fan. They keep changing the artist every couple of issues which is annoying but ,most where good. The story was okay. Typical modern story, nothing that wowed me but it was effective. If you want a good read outside of comics the Facebook and Instagram comments are getting pretty good.

All this restaurant talk made me think, CGC could have bought us dinner first before….well you know the rest.

I cleaned and pressed this myself. Mailed it off for the G Perez private signing two days ago. I’ll post a picture when it comes back
