It's one of the tougher ones maybe because a lot of us love that cover. I have seen several lower grade copies pop up on the bay recently though. As a matter of fact, there is one up now.

They certainly have been available more recently compared to last year, but you're right on the LOW grade part.  The last decent one that was on my radar I finished the race in 2nd place :/

I think this is the first year I have heard of CGC not being there.  They must all be at Wonder Con

It's making my Planet experience considerably cheaper! I'll just wait until the next convention I go to that CGC is setup at. More funds available to pick up collections and good deals at the show this way.

2018 was a fun year for buying, and my collecting focus continued to evolve (and often get off course). It is difficult to narrow it down to just three, so I cheated a bit, but even then I could have listed a few more books.

Journey Into Mystery #2: I missed this book by seconds the first time it auctioned on Comiclink (somehow I mis-set my phone alarm for the snipe doh! ) but I got it the second time around. I may have overpaid, but it isn't often that I see my name written on covers.

JIM #35 and 75: I will never miss an opportunity to buy a White Mountain pre-hero Marvel that I can actually afford! Shout out to @gregreece for working with me on the #75.

Marvel Tales #93: This is an upgrade to my previous 3.0. I love the cover and the significance of the book.

Pftttt...I'm a reptile enthusiast and I turn rocks and other stuff looking for critters.  I see lots of scorpions, but they don't bother you if you don't bother them.  The last time i got a scorpion sting was when I lived in CA and accidentally washed one that had crawled into my pants.  The dead scorpion stung me when I put them on.  LOL  It didn't even hurt as much as a bee sting.

It's also nice to drive around AZ and NOT have to wash your windshield every hour due to smashed bugs on it. Yes, I've been to Florida many times...the only good months are February and March. :whatthe:

I also like Missouri D Stuart...but only in April and early May.  You can have your chiggars...and all the other no-see-ems in your woods...lol

Indeed! The ticks have just been awful the last several years.  Hope this winter is particularly brutal to knock them back a bit.

That's the nice thing about AZ...no earthquakes (except around Yuma), no hurricanes, no tornadoes, no humidity, and no fires in the desert...only heat 6 months of the year (and you can escape that by going to the mountains and jumping in a trout stream).

    Yeah... but SCORPIONS.
