Ummm....doesn't 2 have to play the game?Nah, these wacky Bizarro World prices are just a set-up for the Great Crash. When it hits, cheap comics all around!Ahhhh! So it is a plot to encourage the GREAT CRASH and allow folks to scoop up books at cheap prices?!
OK - I'm game! I will punishment bid the next ASM 129 I see in 8.0 for $21,850!!! MAN, I can;t wait to see the look on the winner's face!!!!!!!!!
You & Pov. Last one to retract their bid wins...........err.........loses.
-
I knew that!sterling..........It was punishment bidding....I knew had no chance in hell of winning, so I thought I would make him pay prices for them... maybe he will leave the books in the next auction so people with BUDGET CONSTRAINTS can get a shot in
I don't get it. Wouldn't such a tactic create an artificially high recording for anyone recording prices? And potentially make the next sale(s) high as well? Am just con-fuse-ed by the logic.

i know i must be crazy
though a don't think $34 is TOO wacky for an early 70's book with a black cover that nice...
still though...yeah! you are right!
Nice book dude! You're not as crazy as those other guys. Let them duke it out, when more of these books surface & you know they will, we'll pick 'em up at fraction of the cost they're paying.

the smoke clears on a bloody bobcat battlefield......

I think the feeling of craziness is coming from the realization that these are not easy to find nice, and this feels like the last chance to find them for reasonable prices. For me, the thing is i never thought late 70's would be tough. Its a feeding frenzy out there!
I think the feeling of craziness is coming from this sweet thread. Imagine all the board members & lurkers who you've all turned on to these gems. I know you got me hooked! Thank you!

Check her for scans and story synoptis. The person who runs the site is a forum member - TheVisitor!eventually yes to both. I am limited at this point to what i have which is about 2000 bronze horror, 1400 or so being DC. That limits the rest a bit, but i'll get the frame work up & update as i go. Anyone who wants to pitch in with content info or scans is more than welcome to PM me! Sadly, i don't have a SINGLE atlas/Seaboard i used to have a bunch, but now that i need them, i no longer have them...Great history info---Thanks for sharing BOC!
I didn't do anything but thank you!

Have a look at the under bidder's feedback and check out the only person's books he has been bidding on (except one) since June of last year.
Better yet, look at his recent bids. Looks shilly to me.
