Well lookie here--Shade "The Gentleman Ghost" is here in an issue of BatMan #319 published in Jan 1980. Does anyone know when he first appeared in Ghosts, or when his "first" appearance was?

BTW, tip on my scans: if you copy the URL and change of the file name (jpg) to start with l- (that's a lowercase l and a dash) you get a monster scan for your up close and personal inspection.

For those wondering, my mom has benefited greatly from my first wave of auctions. I have about another ten grand to go and I believe I can stop the bleeding (ie my selling). And it's a good thing, I'm getting down to the bone.

Hmm. Yeah, those certificates have "morphed" a bit over time. Now they're standardized on 5 x 7 photographic sheets, have a larger scan of the comic, and contains a blow up of the date stamp as a photographic detail. (But it's a faster process.)

 

Probably a little weird of me to do it... but it seemed a good idea at the time.

 

 

Is it copyright infringement for you to re-produce the image?
