Cool Superman puzzle. I've been tempted to buy some of those old puzzles, but figure it's tough to find without a piece or two missing. Nice pickup! (thumbs u

WOW, sweet TEC. Maybe my favorite TEC cover past issue 40. Too bad there weren't more GA Scarecrow covers.

might be the only time in the near future I can post a shot like this
Sell me one at a huge discount?
Seriously, jaw dropping group shot!

Sweet assortment of WDCS books! I especially like issues 32, 44, & the Christmas themed covers you have. (thumbs u

Very nice Action 11 Mike! You've added come beautiful early Actions to your collection in the past year or so.

Three freshly slabbed Timelys.
Great cover. I love the labels all over the cover detailing whats what. I used to do the same thing on my crude drawings as a kid. Cool stuff.

And next, Superman #2, CGC 4.0. This book excites me almost as much as my Archie 1.
Wow, that Supes #2 looks SO much nicer than a 4.0 in the photo. Just an awesome book.

Wow, great addition with that Action 13.

Just recieved my ComicLink wins, so I thought I'd throw together a new and improved slabbed Pep group shot
It's not easy to improve on your Pep group shot, but you certainly managed to do it.

That's a real nice copy of Action 17. Gotta love those early Shuster covers. (thumbs u

Wow, that TEC 29 is beautiful. Probably my favorite pre-Robin TEC. Wish I could find an affordable, restored copy.

Sweet Pep 50! You don't see many Church Peps come to market. Great pickup.

One of my top 5 WDCS covers
Definitely a classic cover. (thumbs u Have to put this issue on my want list.

A stunner of a book. Love those yellow Timely covers.

Whats your takes on why Invincible is has not picked up a larger following so far. It angers me when I dont even see a single issue in the top 100 in sales. Kirkman and Ottley deserve way more props than they get right now. I think so many people dont explore whats out there, and just stick to Marvel and DC, which in my opinion is a huge mistake. Anyways, how long do you think it will take for this book to really go mainstream?
I think your bolded statement is one of the reasons for Invincible not having a larger following. It's easier for new readers to stick with characters like Spider-man & Batman that they are familiar with. However one of the great draws Invincible has IMO is the great NEW cast of characters feautured without 40 years of continuity confusion. I think the biggest way for Invincible to grow in sales is simply by word of mouth. It's how I got onboard. Now I always recommend new readers to go buy the first two TPBs, and after reading that story arc thery are sure to be hooked.
Kevin Boyd makes a great point too about the successful TPB sales for Invincible. One reason may be all the "extras" they contain, plus the stories do read well this way.
Hopefully Invincible will show some steady growth and keep the creative team for a loong time. (thumbs u

Nice books PhiGam! I imagine some of those issues are tough to find in raw 9.8 worthy condition like #10 & 12.
-
Sweet Tec 32, with a classic Batman story inside too. Great pickup!
-
Now can we see the 13 too??
Are you asking me or Tec27Kid? I unfortunately don't have an Action 13, and it's been #1 on my want list for probably 6 years now. There have been a few copies available over the years, though I blew it each time and was unsuccesful securing a copy.

Sweet Action 10 Rick! What's the specs on it?
-
Nice Action 18 Mike. Some of those non-Superman covers are fun to collect too. You seem to be getting lower & lower number Actions lately ... #41 ... #33 ... #18. So are you offically going for the whole 1-100 run now?
-
Awesome Action 41 Mike! Great train cover.

Invincible has been my favorite ongoing title for a couple of years now...At times I was worried about the book, but after reading today's issue....wow....seriously, wow
#52 is the best Invincible issue I've read since #29...which was the end of my favorite arc (25-29/30)..it really reminded me of why I love this title so much...
I finally feel like the book is back on track...this is definitely the beginning of a really strong story arc (ie 7-13)...
I'm an Invincible fan as well, and I had similar thoughts about the book. I loved some of the earlier story arcs (such as 1-13, 19, 25-30, etc) but I haven't been as thrilled with some of the stories in the 40-50 range. I haven't picked up 52 yet, so I'm happy to hear some good buzz about it. (thumbs u

Mike, what are you doing with such an early Action! We don't need any more competition for those books.
Seriously, congratulations on a GREAT pickup. I like the Action 31 cover, and it looks like you got a really nice 6.0 copy.
Show me your Timely's and I'll show you mine. Have a Cigar...
