I know this is sacrilegious but I've always been underwhelmed by Ditko covers. They always lacked an 'oomph' of some sort. He was a great storyteller though. I am a very big fan of Ditko the artist and storyteller. He should be studied by all comic book artists. But I too have felt that covers were not his strong point. Great anatomy and perspective but he didn't seem to have much interest in rendering backgrounds. I only have a beat up childhood copy but this issue might a notable exception to his indifference to background. p.s. It might have been interesting if Ditko had done a Doctor Strange cover to #110. I love 24 compared to this drek

You can hope in one hand.... On a better note, received my sets from Comic Kings, purchased on eBay. Sent me some beauties! Packaged great to boot. What about the line down the back covers? Mine looked great from the front too

I would hope that DC would add a thin piece of cardboard to the backs of the books to stop the sealer damage

Not bad $4.60 each book I saw a couple of these today, what happens if one of these covers is like 1 per store? Not that it's likely, but how do these pre-orders work before the rarities are known? I want it in my collection and will pay $50 if that's the going rate. It's not all about the pump and dump, some books have actual demand.

That's sealed it - no more selling of Daredevil 4s until after the show comes out. That was a fantastic trailer. Darker then I imagined it would be. Question is how long can they keep the Purple Man alive before killing him off. I'm thinking the same thing, he looks super messed up and awesome. I hope he makes it out of the series and into Daredevil or Defenders. I think DD4 is still pretty underrated.
