I watched it very closely as well, but I thought the price was pretty lofty for such a low grade book. Same here, my $1800 bid didnt come close I assumed a new WW#1 in the wild was going to make bidding shoot through the roof, and sure enough.

Hey Gator, 1st Shiera as Hawkwoman, which is more key: All Star #5 or Flash Comics #24? CGC says All Star is 1st appearance as Hawkwoman, but Flash Comics 'becomes Hawkwoman"

I don't even understand the point of starting a sales thread without pics, or saying pics are coming. Personally I don't hit create thread until I have the post completed: rules, titles, prices, pics, etc. When I see a listing pop up, I just want to see whats for sale, buy something or move on. These 'anticipation' threads are a pain.

Thanks guys! My initial focus was to get 1 cool cover for each major DC character. I still need a Flash, Spectre, Sandman etc. Then focus on one each for their other series; Detective, All Flash, etc

I need some advice here. It has been 3 weeks since I purchased a book from this thread: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7997957&fpart=1 However I have not received the book or any tracking info. The last response from the seller was on 8/30 thanking me for payment and saying the book would be mailed on 9/2 I sent a message on 9/12 asking the status of the shipment but it has gone unread. I have talked with another buyer from this thread and he has experienced the same thing. Suggestions on how to proceed from here would be much appreciated.

I need some advice here. I sold a boardie a raw book, provided a couple of pics and a brief description of condition. He got it graded and it came back restored and he wants a full refund because of this. How should I procede?

Picked up a More Fun Spectre from Sharon, and she is definitely one of the best around here!

Welcome to the club. I think that Batman 9 had one of the best covers of the early part of the run. What a classic cover. It has been paid homage to many times since its debut. Agreed, I was looking for 1 great Batman cover, and many from 2-20 or so are happy smiling Batman, but this one is pure classic.
