    Hello @Lookin4Newsstands,

Unfortunately, I have to deny the request as this is very similar to a few other sets in place below. Most or all of the books are included in:

    ASM #1-100

    ASM #1-25

    ASM #1-441

    ASM (Complete)

    ASM (Complete with Variants)

    ASM 1st Appearances

Thank you- if you can also add that book to a slot in this set as well, forgot to mention it before:

Slot added on 11/9/20. Thank you

  3. Would like to request a change/add some issues on to the Amazing  Spider-Man #1-25 Set, I’m sure a lot of Spidey fans would agree-

it would make more sense to change this into ‘Amazing Spider-Man (Stan Lee/ Steve Ditko Run) including the full Steve Ditko run:

    Amazing Fantasy #15

    Amazing Spider-Man #1-38, Annual #1-2.

    Hello @Lookin4Newsstands,

Thank you for your suggestion. I am happy to create a new set as labeled above but am not able to change the current set. We want to avoid altering set titles/runs in fairness to other collectors as they may be collecting/buying the specific books in the current set. Please feel free to make a request for the above set in the "Set" request thread.

I agree with you Lookin4Newsstands. I have been trying to get the Price Variants their own slot as a Variant for Star Wars. They are rarer and harder to get in 9.8 the the US versions.

    Cool-

I imagine the Canadian Edition Price Variants for that title ran between #64 (10/82)- #106 (8/86)- missed the last issue #107 by a month I guess-

Although I’m a huge SW fan, dont have any of those price variants (or SW: ROTJ 1-4), but have some US versions. Have Canadian Editions of other 80s titles.

To X-Men (Complete Including Variants) set, please also add:

    Uncanny X-Men 174 Canadian Edition

    Uncanny X-Men 188 Canadian Edition

    thanks!

Foreign Editions are not eligible for the standard sets, only foreign price variants.

See my last response (to other post) these are indeed Canadian price variants- both 75 Cents as opposed to their 60 Cent US counterparts.

    Slots added. Thank you

To X-Men (Complete Including Variants) set, please add:

    Uncanny X-Men 164 Canadian Edition

    Uncanny X-Men 171 Canadian Edition

    thanks!

Foreign Editions are not eligible for the standard sets, only foreign price variants.

All Marvel Canadian Editions between Oct,1982- 1986 are indeed foreign price variants.

Starting in 1982, the US edition standard size Marvel Comics were 60 cents, Canadian Editions were 75 Cents. The two comics listed above fall in this category (Side note: Uncanny X-Men #162 was the first issue in that title to start the 75 Cent Canadian Edition Price variant).

In the next price jump for Marvel Comics (before 1986), standard size US comics were 75 cents, while the Canadian Edition Price Variants jumped to 95 Cents.

Slots added. My apologies for the delay as our experts needed to edit all of the book data in our system.

    Please add:

Batman: Harley Quinn #nn Foil Edition

to these 3 sets that the regular edition is already in:

    - Alex Ross Cover Set

    - Batman One-Shots

    - Harley Quinn (2000)

    Thanks!

Added to Alex Ross and Batman One-shot sets. This book is a one-shot and is not eligible for the Harley Quinn (2000) set. I also removed the other one-shot books as they are not eligible. Thank you

    Thanks Matt-

I noticed it in the Alex Ross cover set, but I didn’t see it in the Batman One-Shots set.

This book was added into the existing slot along with the other variants. This goes along with the format of the rest of the set.

  8. Looks like CGC Trading Cards Only grades Pokémon TCGand Magic: The Gathering cards. Would be interested in this if Vintage 70’s Marvel Comic Book Heroes Stickers would be graded as well. Just picked up a bunch.

Also hoping that 70’s Treasury Edition size comic books are hopefully able to be graded eventually as well!

  9. To the Thor (Complete with Variants) set, please add:

    Thor 348 Canadian Edition

    Thor 351 Canadian Edition

    Thanks!

Unfortunately, Foreign "Editions" are not eligible for the regular sets. I changed the titles on many of these as they were mislabeled as Editions instead of Variants. I had to remove a handful of books from the set as well. You may consider requesting a Thor Complete Foreign Editions set in the applicable thread. Thank you

  10. Please add:

Batman: Harley Quinn #nn Foil Edition

to these 3 sets that the regular edition is already in:

    - Alex Ross Cover Set

    - Batman One-Shots

    - Harley Quinn (2000)

    Thanks!

Added to Alex Ross and Batman One-shot sets. This book is a one-shot and is not eligible for the Harley Quinn (2000) set. I also removed the other one-shot books as they are not eligible. Thank you

This set would include the first series (1992-1995), First Printings only, comprised of:

    1. X-Men #137 CGC 9.9 (Highest graded, very few) is at 680 points, but sold in Heritage Auction for over $3,100 in that grade in 2017 (That copy did Not even have White Pages). Other copies in that grade have sold for over $2,000 many years ago, as well. Scores are accurate. I cannot change the scoring for the book for one auction from 2017 which may be an outlier.

    Thanks for your help Matt-

For X-Men #137 CGC 9.9, I understand that a score cannot be changed from a sale from one auction. I noticed only one sale listed on GPAnalysis.com - it happens to be the Heritage Auction I mentioned. However- there have been other sales prior to that- 5 of the other sales were on ComicLink (sales not shown on GPA) - all sold in 2013, and all sales ranged from $1,800 to $2,400. I actually purchased one of those 5 copies (yes I splurged, and had to sell many other books to pay that off). I can email you proof of those additional 5 sales if needed, and can send a screenshot of my auction win (dated and # of bids shown) as well. So that would be a total of 6 sales for this book in this grade - coincidentally, there’s 6 copies of that highest grade on the census. Including the Heritage Auction, sales from 2013-2017 ranged from $1,800-$3,107.

For the other books of ‘The Dark Phoenix Saga’ (X-Men #129-138), there are scores for some of these (such as #131) in 9.8 which do correlate to their actual sales values, yet many scores of these other issues in 9.8 are much, much higher (4 of these issues in 9.8 score between 1200-1805 points) than the #137 score in 9.9 (680 points). However, no issue between #129-138 in CGC 9.8 has ever sold for as much for #137 in CGC 9.9 (with the exception of one single sale of #129 CGC 9.8 for $1,800 (all other sales of this issue and the other issues were much less), and even that is on the low end of what #137 CGC 9.9 has sold for in the past.

    Hello @Lookin4Newsstands

Please send me a PM with screenshots and/or auction links and I will review to see if the score can be increased. Thank you

  13. Hi Matt-

I’d like to request point increases on 5 Key books in grades that don’t reflect sale prices:

    2. Marvel Super Hero Secret Wars #8 CGC 10.0 (Highest graded, very few) is at 1,500 points, but sold for $14,000 in 2019 (also another copy sold for $9,000 in 2018; both sales shown on GPAnalysis.com). Score has not been changed. Score is actually a touch higher than it should be in lower grades.

    3. Detective Comics #122 CGC 7.0 is at 609 points, but sold in that grade for $8,200 earlier this year (and over $6,800 in auction last year). All grades have seen increase in sales across the board in recent years (1st Catwoman cover). Score significantly increased

    4. Detective Comics #68 CGC 7.0 is at 1,470 points, but most recently sold in that grade for over 3X that point value. Many lower grades have seen increase in sales across the board in recent years  (1st Two-Face cover). score increased

    5. Detective Comics #67 CGC 7.0 is at 1,029 points, but most recently sold in that grade for 3-4X that point value. Many lower grades have seen increase in sales across the board  (1st Penguin cover). score updated

    Thanks for your consideration.
