Great News! I ended up working with eBay and getting a refund on this one. Unfortunately I had to get eBay involved since the seller wouldn't agree to a refund, but in the end it all worked out. Unfortunately in between getting charged and waiting for the refund I had to miss out on a TMNT #1 Second print for $200. That's one of the best prices i've seen in a while. Oh well, back to the hunt. Did you have to return the book? I did return the book. Sent it back in the same shape as it was sent to me. When i first asked to return it he told me that he would give ME half if I sent the book back, but i went for the full refund instead. I would have felt guilty if I would have gotten a refund and been able to keep the comic.

I've got one you can have for a great price!! But yeah, that sucks. I hate feeling ripped off. I think it may have been on purpose too which makes it worse. I have asked for a refund but the seller states it was posted accurately. I disagree...to me when you say reprint (second printing) that means its a second printing...I thought at first it was a fake. Oh well, live and learn. I thought getting a second printing for $130 was too good to be true, but sometimes you get lucky.

Question, Is there a modern day reprinting of the Second print of TMNT #1? I won this auction and just received my comic but it is a small photocopy/reprint of the second printing of #1. On the inside cover there are a lot of blue lines surrounding the borders, they look like chalk lines or something. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/ninja-turtles-1-reprint-second-printing-/191511938279 The description is this "this comic is a reprint of the first tmnt comic book in nearly perfect condition" and the title was this - ninja turtles #1 reprint (second printing). I took this as a TMNT #1 second print but it is a copy of the second printing...? I asked for a return and the seller is giving me guff about it. Did I get ripped off?

Hi All, I recently had some TMNT comics graded - #2 First Print 9.4 and #3 First Print 8.0 and would like to hang them on the wall. I was looking at some of the frames that you can slide the holders into and am wondering which ones are the best and if there are any to steer clear of. I also have a #4 and #1 color error - http://tmntcomics.wordpress.com/2011/07/21/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-color-special-1-misprint-error-edition/ Are the slabs all the same size, or do they have different sized slabs for magazine sized and regular sized comics? I am looking to get those slabbed also and would just order the frames all at the same time. Thanks!

Hi all, new to the boards *First Post* just spent the last week reading through the entire post, all 300+ pages. Good stuff, learned a TON about TMNT. Thank you for sharing your stories and your knowledge. So, my collection is small so far - #2 first print, #3 first print. Hope to add a #1 and #4 someday!! Just got a #1 2009 Color One-shot with the cross hatch error on Ebay for $10 - Do you think that was a good deal? I've heard those are a bit rare. Let me know what you know about this one.
