  1. Its a great comic to have and one that has an interesting history in TMNT comics!
  2. That doesn't sound super helpful of them does it, I suppose they are trying not to make promises in writing to cover themselves but it is not reassuring of them. It has put me off from ordering with them. Is it possible to arrange returning your comic in some kind of return to sender packaging/box where they will simply put the replacement comic book into the received box and return it to you? That way you maybe can control the quality of their packaging better? If it say $10 or less to return the comic (tracked/insured!) and get a new replacement it might be worth asking if that is an option? I think that is what I would do
  3. Hey @Jesse-Lee I keep my copy in a simple toploader like this
  4. Awesome, congrats on a great purchase! I think rich is choosing the best copies for anyone who purchases the $100 stock, so you should be good, assuming the postal service don't fancy turtle soup for their breakfast! Rich packaged my comic really well. Share photos of the comic when it turns up!
  5. Hey @eastbayrudy sorry to hear about your comic turning up less than ideal. If you purchased it via https://portsmouthminicon.com/product/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-1-40th-anniversary-edition/ they do still have a few copies left, it may be worth reaching out to them to see if they will replace it? It's surely worth a try, don't settle while it is still possible to improve the situation. Perhaps in hindsight you'll be glad you did and you deserve to love this comic, not settle! Keep us posted PS: I'm not a grader (I wish I could grade my comics) but my copy arrived in the same great condition @rich_TMNT posted it - many thanks rich!
  6. I would guess anywhere from $899 - $1,225, with an average estimated FMV somewhere around $950. It looks like the Buy It Now auctions go for higher prices. Let us know if you get one!
  7. I read mine today! I wanted to read it straight from the press because I wanted to imagine what a first print might have looked like as a new comic, with the artwork and white newsprint not affected by time! As of right now this printing is probably the most affordable way to get a copy of this cover in the original magazine format, and I am afraid to read my second, third and all other printings - so I am using this printing as a reader to enjoy!
  8. My copy of TMNT 1: A Collection reprint arrived today, it looks great - check the back page interior!
  9. It looks so authentic, are you able to show more photos? Mine is on its way but I am very excited to see how it looks like!
  10. That looks like a Panel to Panel special signed plate edition!
