That can happen when they put the books up for sale before Diamond confirms the order requirements, I guess. A calculated gamble to get early order business. If Diamond assigned a preorder code and made it public, I would think it's order what you want. If there were stipulations, would they have made it available with the code? I may very well be wrong though!

Done!! I ordered 7, I'll have 10 if my lcs comes through! I don't see it being as scarce as the Ottley but you never know.

I'm sure someone here has a diamond account and could possibly ofer a preorder service. Selling them at cover would make them a decent fee. Just a suggestion. My lcs is kinda dinky and the only one in my city. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets shorted.

I was just checking out the LBCC sketch variant, and looking at it closely I noticed a hand sticking out with webbed fingers. It looks like the creature from the black lagoon, or at least his hand. Now that's got me to wondering when this creature will make an appearance! We just got a look at Audry 2 in #6 and big frogs and insects are coming very soon, so I'm stoked to see what all these guys have to fight. Did I mention this book is awesome! Take a close look at the sketch cover and see what you can find, it's very interesting. Plus you can see more with it being black and white. Cheers!

Just got of the phone with my lcs. Image posted the preorder code and final day to preorder is 5/19 i believe. None of the big online stores have it available yet but give them a few days.

So this will be a variant to #7? You think we can order just like the regular cover?

It's funny how people like different things. The Ottley cover was not very cool to me at first but it did grow on me. I think the #2 cover is the best of them all so far. Just how it's simple yet detailed and beautiful all in one. Matthew Roberts has to be one of the best artists out there right now IMHO. With Nick Pitarra right there with him. Manhattan Projects and Manifest Destiny are kings right now.

Here's a question, What made any of you want to try this book before it was released? For me it was the alternative history aspect, the cool cover art and the Title. I preordered 5 copies of 1A and after it came out i ordered 2 copies of 1B. Ya I'm kicking myself for only ordering 2 but at least I got a few. What drew you all to the book?

Hi all! I'm new to the boards but not new to comics. This series is my favorite of all books out right now. I remember seeing the first book in previews and I just had a feeling about it. Then when I saw the 2nd cover I knew for sure I was in on this and I wasn't disappointed! Writing and art are top notch. My question is how are the prices for the OA? I have received a reply on the OA but was told the last pages and covers are sold. I sent in a few of the page #'s I would like but haven't herd back.(it's only been a few days and he was busy). I just want to know the average price for a decent page if possible. Thanks for any info!
