  1. Piece of the Past bs , from his own site : "But unfortunately more than jealousy has occurred as of late — the market is being challenged by a consortium or syndicate known as third party opinionators. They grew up in the shadow of the late 90s sports fraud discovery by the FBI and prey on fear to this day" of course hes angry at these , they often call his bluff with the junk he sells......as well as his own certed fakes he also sell AAU (has certed fake Bruce Lee's , they looked brand new despite being "signed" in the 60s lol) and Global certed junk "I could go on and on but there are numerous websites out there reporting on their chicanery and we shall leave it to them and the law to decide their fate" yes , just you wait when theyre coming for your *** "We will however happily refund any item to the original purchaser with NO time limit" gtfo here with that bs , neither you nor Elkouby refunds "hand-signed by CEO Kevin Martin" truly delusional this guy , talks about himself in third person - its obviously himself that has written this resume "Trust is what you get with Piece of the Past where you can sit back, relax and build a world class collection in the field of entertainment…but if you wish to have third party stickers on your items then if you submit our pieces do so without our COA since it will only cause them to flunk it as we have proven by our own investigations (proof upon request as well) " lmao , such nonsense.......yes poor poor POTP , lets all bow done to this scammer and kiss his b*stard *** : the almighty autograph God has spoken ! "Also, do your research and check whether the signatures have been produced by a computer-controlled pen that is used to replicate a famous person’s autograph. Also, you can’t underestimate the cunning ways of forgers who have practiced a famous person’s autograph and hand-signed items in the same style" yeah , like your b*stard forger who lives in Vegas , he does indeed use autopen to forge

  7. Kevins forger is not very clever : Bowie dated '17 , he died 2016 Shaw on Avalanche Express & no fading to sharpie after 45 yrs (!) , post death movie Prince on post 2000 photo , he stopped signing early 90s Bruce Lee japan LP (why not forge a chinese record , BL wasnt shown in Japan until 1974-75 , amateurish attempt. Also 400$ , it would easily be worth 1000s if real. Enter shown in Japan xmas '73 , that was the first one over there) Back in 2000 I saw 2 Green Hornet cards sgd in fountain pen by Lee , mightve been real.....a bargain at 600$
  8. POTP sold a fake Beatles for over 1k yesterday , either pre print or forgery Frasier cast looked fake too 007 LALD LP 130$ (Moore , Kotto , Seymour , Holder.....all fake) Bruce Lee sgd LP (post death japanese record says it all) Bruce Willis 100 (he was almost no signer) ACDC LP 100 (hes tried multiple times selling this , also on ebay under straw seller moviemusiccollect) Jackson 5 230$ (just Jacko alone is 2k on an LP) Janis Joplin 500$ (worth 1000s easily)
  9. I hope they get sued , customers shouldnt tolerate this !
  10. Hollywood Show doing signing with Eastwood , a potential to be scammed literary 1000s , buyer beware
  11. from reddit : ComeHomeTrueLove •6 mo. ago They have a terrible reputation, known for taking money/items for signings that never occur and the authenticity of their product has been questioned many times, they were formerly known as Gridiron Authentic’s who mixed in forgeries with authentic autographed items from their signings, they then re-branded as Celebrity Authentics, it’s the exact same people with a new company name and target audience, anyone who chooses to purchase through them doesn’t know what they are getting, they use generic broad angle exact proof shots with their COA’s that prove nothing, they were caught forging yet people still somehow support this company, I’d stay very far away from anything with their sticker unless it was an item that was stickered at a public comic con appearance I'd look at issuing a charge back if you can. and this is pretty condemning : "Wow! I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info! I now want to file a lawsuit against them more than ever" from autograph live forum , again all this can be googled : Reply by hbw60 To Mike Shepherd on February 15, 2020 at 1:19pm Thank you for your input, Mike! When I entered the ID into their website, it says it was signed on 09/01/2015. The "fatigued" style is another complaint I've heard about Celebrity Authentics - that they cram too many items into their signing sessions, resulting in rushed, sloppy signatures. I'm hoping Pete Bendu sees this thread, because I believe it was him who made me aware of the authenticity concerns in another thread somewhere. He seems to be the biggest expert on all of this. But it appears that CA has released some very untrustworthy-looking signatures in recent years. And they're also the movie-related branch of Gridiron Authentics, which has also come under scrutiny for forgeries. So they exist in a weird gray area, where they indisputably hold genuine signings with these people, but then potentially corrupt them with fakes. So buying from them comes with a bit of risk. Personally, I wish I could have avoided them entirely from blowoutforums : Originally Posted by cardlover29 I hate to be that guy, but Celebrity Authentics have been known to mix in fakes with real graphs, this is why they have an unlimited supply of signed items. There was a discussion about this on the RACC facebook page (Real Autograph Collectors Club (RACC)) https://www.racctrusted.com/ (I happen to be RACC Trusted Seller 134) I have been obtaining and selling autographs myself in person for over 15 years and the core professional sellers in the business have some to this conclusion seeing questionable signatures from them over the years. The autograph business is small and we travel all over the world and know each other personally. we have had many discussions about celebrity authentics, take that however you will, but I personally would not buy from them, especially their auction site.
  12. from reddit : "They don't have a good reputation. My honest opinion from looking at this, the mjf looks off, as does the C in Christopher. And this is just way too cheap. To pay for those signatures from the actors leaves almost zero profit. Mine sold for way more, but that was the super limited edition Mattel board. On the positive side though is if you do get this board the pictures do seem to match with the signature placement, but, that's pretty easy to fake without being able to see what they are writing. I'm no expert though. If it was me, I'd ask Beckett for an opinion" and : "This is the problem, the company was tied to another autograph company that was shut down for fraud. So even if this is 100% real, that COA isn't worth the card stock it's printed on. On top of that, they are notorious for never running out of autographs. The hoverboard you posted has been for sale for months. Same pictures. Same coa's. Same signature placement. Same signatures. The popular theory is this company does signings, and then uses the proof pictures over and over to sell knockoffs. For $600 that board shouldn't have lasted a day on that site, but I remember having it advertised to me while I was selling mine, and that was over a year ago. And again, this thing is way too cheap. That's a Legacy Events t800 prop replica. They cost $600 alone. Arnold was charging $1,250.00 at his only signing last year. There is no way this is real and costs less than $2k. Safe bet is to just stay as far away from them as possible. Try CPA authentics for legit signatures, but the selection is limited because they are real. Check out the RACC. They have a list of trusted sellers. They aren't free from criticism, but it's better than the store you're shopping at" and : "I bought a Daniel Craig 16x20 from them. Thought they were legit considering they are a dealer to places like Universal Studios. I found out afterwards the shady reputation their sister company, Gridiron Authentics, had. I was concerned but Beckett passed it. Happy because I got it at a good price but I’ll prolly never buy from them again. Shouldn’t have to through such a hassle from a supposedly reputable company that charges the premium they do" When in doubt , walk away.....they could be legit but im not taking any chances. "PSA and JSA aren’t always legit and the main owner was caught in fraud himself so there’s that. Google is your friend" (indeed , google helps with autograph forgers......redditor fakeautographs also call their bluffs)
  13. yeah , cuz ive done autographs 25 yrs......Bendu is an respected authority on the SW autographs scene , 40 yrs hes done SW. He called CAs bluff with their fake Fords. Bendu is very familiar with Fords graph and has supposedly lots of Fords in his collection. "guy wasn’t really a big fan of me telling him you most likely got scammed saying i had no facts but really no one would , Alan moore would have to tell him it isn’t real" , people are often in denial.....when the celeb is dead then nobody can be asked unless photographic evidence but even that can be faked. Collecting autographs is risky , thats just the way it is.
  14. Doesnt matter , ive made up my mind......I think Bendu who has like , what , 40 yrs experience with autographs knows a thing or two. And if he gives CA thumbs down that is in my mind reason for concern. People also thought discowookie was legit in the beginning , Bondcollectibles - same thing. Mixed bag dealers are a problem , it shouldnt have to be the customers responsibility , they should buy with confidence & not be worried whether real or fake. People also praise Outlaw Hobbies but again Bendu says they sell dubious graphs. Many forgers also cry slander when their bluff is called , saying PSA & others are slandering them......I dont buy it. Ive also seen Batman cowls insc by West so it seems he had the insc rule on those too. Fred was firm with that rule whether people believe it or not , that way West would not be the bad guy if fans were upset. Newmar prolly saw this and did this herself too. Ward didnt care about insc items but he was upset at a a con once and got into argument with Wests manager Fred over this silly rule as Ward feared hed lose revenue over this and fans skipping them - it is what it is.
  15. https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/155936935_elvis-presley-and-richard-nixon-signed-page TX forger AAU (they certed fake Bruce Lee's) & GFA certed items = trash

You may not be the customer that paid them, but they should still stand by their certifications. I can't imagine if I was going to call beckett, JSA, or PSA to check in on a certification and got that kind of a reaction from the company. Like if I lost the certification card to any one of my Beckett certified items I can absolutely call them and get a replacement even if I wasn't the person who paid for the initial certification. There is a small fee, and they recently stopped issuing the cards all together, but they would never brush me off because I didn't give them money for the initial certification like that. That's just bad business"
  18. Agree to disagree , CA was former Gridiron , a company that has sold fakes and still appear to be doing so When I met Newmar all items had to be insc , just my 2 cents Let the buyer beware https://forum.rebelscum.com/threads/in-case-you-need-more-reasons-not-to-buy-from-ca.1128335/ (Bendu : "Just like the rest of them.....they get cocky and think no one will notice" , like HS trying to sell fake Stan Lee sgd funko but redditor fakeautographs caught him red handed)
  19. Okay , hopefully real.....but had I brought the comic to a con chances are she would only insc it. I suspect she sends out fakes now thru mail cuz theyre not insc. Sep 28, 2016 #297 "I would think with all the evidence the verdict is pretty clear, don't buy from them. If they are repping a guest at a show, buy something, if it's a send in or there eBay store, walk away" , its the same thing with Hollywood Show : never buy there items which you didnt see sgd yourself. I hope for the money you paid its real deal , as it should be.
  20. Newmar doesnt sign w/o inscription , in fact met her in person 2015/16 and she flatly refused to sign w/o insc & she had prolly insc items for yrs then......West had insc since 2004 or so. This was done to avoid resales. If its from Hollywood Show then it may be fake
  21. Piece of the Past also sells such items.......i believe theres fake Romero Joker sgd art out there too , buyer beware
