ironic that Piece of the Past calls themselves for being honest and that other dealers steal peoples items.....oh , the irony (POTP owner accused several times of theft , I dont believe for a second he lost 1000s worth of Rocky Horror stuff just like that , from Scott M.....source Starworld yelp review) I suspect "Johnny Utah" is POTPs alias on fb , he advertises Hollywood Show events. Fact is 1. he was in Vegas at that date and 2. he mailed me fakes. Doesnt matter that it was done thru HS , Kevin Martin had my items last. Then in 2019 (8 yrs after my HS pre order) I see some fool on ebay trying to sell 2 of my items that KM claimed to me (like he did to Scott) he'd lost......he has a bad habit of "losing" peoples items , huh The Meriwethers Hollywood Show has on ebay appears similar to autopenned junk KM mailed me......according to Hwood Reporter Elkouby had a Bruce Lee Game outfit in his poss , that costume was a fake (wrong neck/armpit seams& baggy.....real one was snug fit leotard) and it sold thru spinks 2013 auction for 100k (!!!) , spinks was told but did nothing to stop this. Elkouby is a scammer & arrested twice : 90s alleged stolen movie props & 2019 for theft/drugs by BPD

some dillhole from Atlanta has like 35 (!!!) different accounts selling fake autographs , and thats just ONE dealer........

Piece of the Past sold a SL "sgd" spidey drawing for 560$ on liveauctioneers few days ago , POTP is forger kingpin with 9 dealers that do his bidding , buyer beware

"If the seller has a high seller rating and positive reviews, it should be fine" lots of forgers have 1000s of positives so you'd be wrong , most only give fdbk cuz they received it and dont take a minute to actually confirm whether the sig is real or not

autographs = martial arts By this i mean youre never fully learned and it will not come easy unless youre willing to invest serious time studying autographs for yrs....ive been doing this 25 yrs now. No sticker will proof that what you have is real. The underbelly of this hobby is truly frightening. I spend hrs studying the sig before I buy on ebay. .

there are plenty of fb autograph groups , in general collectors know more than authenticators who may look at your signature for 5 mins , tops

If they cant refund that customer then i wont do biz with them , why take the chance ? Proof pics/videos have been faked before , unless youre there in person one cannot know 100% whether fake or real

i read on startiger that someone had bought a Mario Lopez and it wasnt sgd by him , in fact the sig looked like it had been sgd by a female (his secretary ?) , GC could do the right thing and refund but they wont

Well , tbh its just their opinion , there are collectors out there that have studied the sigs for yrs or decades.....its no guarantee 100% that what you bought is real , at best they look at it for 5 mins. I wont buy from A*OA as the owner is a jerk (nothing to do with authenticity) or G*laxy C*n (they sold dubious Mario Lopez & ST cast and like with POTP its no refund) (Madonna sig deemed a fake , quelle surprise.....)

Beware of Piece of the Past/Hollywood Show , POTP has sold fake Stan Lee's & HS was caught selling fake sgd SL capt A funko last yr POTP currently has a SL drawing on liveauctioneers , imo its not real (also a fake Rigg , ive met her in 2011 so I know what it looks like) & has a nationwide ring of 9 (!) dealers aid him sell fakes , among them jackmsell (sold fake 007 sigs for over 5k last month : post death Robert Shaw - he never finished Avalanche Express...another thing the sharpie sig has not faded in 45 yrs ?? , dubious Connery & Dalton has for yrs refused to sign 007 items) and colbystreetartandantiques "hand writing expert" , POTP also claims to be a forensic certified expert but then again hes a full blown a-hole conman

i wouldnt buy PSA certed items with their new sticker , they getting more and more sloppy re : authenticity. Arnold appears real , dunno the others.
