Nice books! The #26 is especially sharp.
-
Note to self: Get off thine lazy butt and scan some JLA's to share.
-
All of the Neal Adams covers on the 60s numbered X-books turned out very well.
Yes, they did.

new pickup.....
Good Lord! Do you have the HG X-Market cornered yet? Beautiful book. I'd scan my 8.5ish but there's no need. I always liked this cover.

I love that 9.0 JLA #29! Beautiful book! I've owned a Good copy for decades but I've been on the hunt for a nicer copy for a couple of years but to no avail. (Well, at least when the budget has presented itself. )
I'm not sure if I'll ever slab any of mine. I still have about 10 or so books on my list to upgrade but I'm pretty content having completed the run in May. I still need B&B #28 & #30. I foolishly passed up a great deal on a B&B #28 last Fall because I was afraid it might have been restored due to the price on it. As for the B&B #30, I seem to always find beat up copies at list or more that I don't want, or HG copies out of my budget. Ah well, I'll get it some day. You need these quests to keep the hobby exciting.

Those are some great books.

Good Lord! A 9.2 X-Men #1! That's quite impressive. There's a book in a condition I'll never own. (Unless I win the lottery. )

That's good news that it's genuine! Congratulations again!

Wow! I was thinking the same thing if that Avengers #4 was the Record version. Are you sure there wasn't another version? Or was the Golden Record book the same saize as a true comic? Hopefully it's the original you have and, besides owning such a classic, you have a great story to tell! Great buy!

I've always liked the JLA #43 cover. It was one of the first I remember seeing in my very first visit to a comic shop in the late 70's. I believe I have 2 copies though my nicest is not as great shape as yours.
I should post more of my JLA's but I need to scan them in and haven't found the time yet.

Here's a paperback book I bought in the late 70's. Along with a World's Finest one. I must have read these numerous times.

My pride & joy. One I wasn't sure I'd ever get.

Additional Adams cover and a great one at that.

Another that featured a Rogues Gallery.

PS: I liked the Tattooed Man better as a sailor.

While not a SA issue, here's one that is a good example of what hooked me as a kid. I thought it was so cool to see the heroes vs. a group of villians.

Here's another Adams cover.

Aye carumba! All those 9.6/9.8 SA JLA's! All I can say is WOW! I don't have a lot of mine scanned in but I'll add a few different ones here.

Sorry for the smaller scans as these were prior to me going PRO with Photobucket.

Love the Detective cover, Greggy. Beautiful shape also.

Oops. I should've been more PC.
-
I'll have to dig some of my X-books out and scan them. That way you'll have the proverbial "red-headed stepchild" versions.
-
I never expect less.
Great copy!

Boy, I get excited to show a larger scan of one I just got and, blam, the thread goes dead. Just my luck.
