  1. The box was an used box from a comic store he had bought from, so he didn't have to pay for it. $4 for bubble wrap? I don't believe him, when I sell stuff I always have boxes and bubble wrap at home that came from other shippings, so I just re-use them without making the buyer pay for box and bubble wrap, and he probably does it too. Also, there wasn't much of it inside the package.. I just make the buyer pay for the shipping price. Also I asked for priority shipping for $39, he agreed, and then sent first class, lying once more on the shipping price. He lied multiple times and behaved like a kid. I think I should receive another $3,30. If I do receive that money I'll be satisfied, because I'll get back the amount he shouldn't have taken from me. However, I won't suggest anybody to deal with him if he does get removed from the PL list.
  2. The seller sslim66 has sent me a $30 refund today. As you can read from the quoted post of mine that you can find in page 2508 he made me pay $33,30 USD more for the shipping. I paid for insured priority, he sent non insured first class but made me pay as he shipped with priority. He was added to the PL list for this reason. Today, after receiving the refund, he told me he'd like to be removed from the PL list. I won't ask for him to be removed though, I'll let you decide. He did what he did. He lied lots of times, insulted me and also sent to my email addres a lot of gay sites spam mails as he used my email address to subscribe to some gay sites. How can I know it was him that did it? Well, the mails started arriving after some minutes after he was put in the PL list. Also, the email account of mine is known only to a few people, since I use it only for these boards and a couple more sites and I've almost never shared it with any other person. It wouldn't be a problem to receive those mails if I was the only one using that email address. I'm not homophobic so I could have just laugh a little bit for what he did. The problem is that I share that email address on my main PC at home, with my children using it for playing games. When I get a mail it gets notified on the home screen, so my little children started seeing some naked men on the pc while playing. That's not fun at all. That made me really angry. For this reason I fear that he could do what he did to me again to another person, so I won't ask that he gets removed from the PL. I don't know the rules, but if you think he should be removed, remove him from the PL and I will respect the rules. If you need my word for removing him, don't remove him. Thanks everybody
  3. Alright, I won't open a case then. Thanks for your support!
  4. Update: The second package arrived. As expected, the user paid just $29,70 http://postimg.org/image/aqznf1yc5/ The books were perfect luckily. I paid $39 and he told me he had paid ( lying) $35, taking $4 for the box and bubble wrap. Also, the box was an used one which was used by a comic store to send some comics to him. Now I should receive a $24 refund for the first shipping and $9,30 refund for the second one. The total refund should be $33,30, but I'm sure the seller won't send me those money back, unluckily... Thanks for putting him in the PL list, at least he won't fool people again. However, I remember I wrote on PayPal that the items should have been sent via priority when I sent the money. Should I open a PayPal case hoping for a $10 refund at least?
  5. The seller hasn't refunded me, is ignoring me on the boards and doesn't answer to my emails. It's been 4 days since I wrote the first post. What now?
  6. You can see all the mails between the seller and me on my first post here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7772913#Post7772913 They clearly show I was asking for priority + insurance for the first package and priority for the second. Also, the seller wrote on his first post in this discussion that he shipped priority as agreed, but he didn't.
  7. I can understand a $5 overcharge or something around there but nearly $30 is a total rip off and I would be annoyed too. Was it $30 total or an extra $30 both times? Either way, seems wrong. This is not a good introduction for this new member to buying on these boards, especially one who seems to actually PAY for his purchases (thumbs u IMHO, I think the seller should refund the difference, despite the fact that the buyer agreed to it. I am sure that the buyer thought the price he was charged for shipping was the ACTUAL cost. I wonder, had the buyer known what the REAL ship cost was vs what he was being charged for "shipping handling and supplies" , he may have either a) had the opportunity to negotiate on price/shipping or b) maybe not have even bought from the seller. The seller, if what the buyer is saying is accurate there could be a case that the buyer has been deceived as the books were NOT shipped in the manner in which he was specified and paid for as part of their sales agreement? How is that not deceitful? I don't know, it seems shady and a violation of the sales agreement and maybe should be PL worthy? My is that the seller is wrong here and should refund the difference. Again, it boils down to what is your reputation worth? It should be a $24 refund for the first transaction ( I paid $50 for priority + insurance, he instead used First class no insurance paying $26) and at least 4$ for the second transaction ( I asked for priority which costs $39 ( I got some books shipped for $39 priority), he agreed, but then shipped first class claiming to have paid $35. I still have to receive the package and check how much he really paid though). So it should be a total of $28 for both at the moment. I thought those $50 of the first transaction were ONLY for shipping, which instead cost $26 to the seller. And if he told me he was about to ship first class no insurance I wouldn't have bought from him for sure. I can't risk to lose over $400 if the package gets lost.
  8. I won't buy from him again, but the problem is that he doesn't want to refund me and I've lost $30.
  9. I said the comics of the first shipping were great. His comics are in great condition and I'd suggest to buy from him IF you check the shipping price yourself first. He got $28+ extra money from me. The second time I did it: I had received a few books paying $39 for priority, so I asked him to do the same price, but he shipped first class and paid at least $4 less. If it was something like $2 and if he shipped with the method I was telling him to ship I wouldn't have said anything. The problem is that I paid first time for priority + insurance and he shipped first class no insurance ( without saying anything) ( https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tRef=fullpage&tLc=1&tLabels=LC938608577US) The second time I asked for priority and he shipped first class again. I am new to the boards, so I didn't know what to do after he started removing himself from our PM conversations without leaving an answer. I wrote on his Kudos thread that he sells real stuff but makes extra money over shipping. He answered on both my and his kudos thread with his version of the story, which was false, since he shipped both times first class making $28+ extra because I paid for priority + insurance first time and priority second time. The messages on our kudos thread were removed by a moderator.
  10. English is not my main language, so by using "pathetic" I meant he was making excuses and was not believable, which is "patetico" in Italian.
  11. I bought from you again because, as you can see on my first post, you said you had lost your job, probably for the purpose of not making me ask you for a shipping refund. After you ripped me off on the second shipping too I asked for a $4 refund which you didn't want to give. Then I checked your status on the forums and saw you had bought a bunch of comics. If you have money for the comics you can refund me. In a nutshell: I paid for priority + insurance first time paying $50, you shipped first class and paid $26. I paid for priority second time paying $39, you shipped first class and you're also claiming you paid $35. At the moment I should have a $28 refund. When the second package arrives I'll ask for another refund of the difference between $35 and the real price if there is any. THE FIRST WASN'T SENT PRIORITY AS YOU SAY! HERE IS THE PROOF: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tRef=fullpage&tLc=1&tLabels=LC938608577US It clearly says first class, so stop lying to everybody and send me a $28 refund, then we'll talk about the next refund I should get if needed. I didn't insult you, ever. This was the conversation: sslim: your not getting ANY REFUND YOU AGREED TO THE PRICE . YOU GOT WHAT YOU PAID FOR Me: It was 59$ for shipping with insurance, you shipped first class no insurance and paid $26 using an old package. Stop making excuses and send me the refund. You can't fool people like this. I need 30$ for this transaction, then I'll check the price you paid for shipping for the last transaction and will ask a redund for it too if needed. Thanks ( Here I was wrong because the price for shipping was $50. The first time we talked he asked for $59 though) sslim: No I didn't got the post info. You agreed to the deals life with it. I'm tired of your demands Me You like stealing money and fooling people? You're just pathetic ( I wrote this after he had already started leaving the PM conversation and ignoring me on the boards. How can he say he's tired of my demans if he stole more than $26? sslim: Nothing was stole child. Put ya a little olive oil on it and stick it up your Mestarting to insult because you have no arguments huh? Send me those $30 back. Thanks And here are a bunch of pics of our PMs: http://postimg.org/gallery/3sfp3f3a/ You can judge how sslim and I behaved. I was calm and tried to explain why I should have had the refund, while he made some excuses, left the topics, ignored me and insulted me privately. When I ship stuff I never ask for gas, bubble wrap etc... I only ask the post's shipping price. Is it $26? I'll ask $26. The box and the bubble wrap can be reused when you get a package, which is what you did since your package came from a canadian man you bought from.
  12. No, because he is ignoring me: http://postimg.org/image/5bpjryryt/ However, I'm demanding $24 for the first shipping and $4 for the second. When the second package arrives I'll see if it really cost $35 or not. If it didn't cost $35 I will ask for another refund of the difference between $35 and the real cost. We had a conversation in my and his Kudos Threads, but our posts were deleted by a moderator. I know that the Kudos Threads are not for having disputes, and it's right that the posts were deleted, but unluckily you can't see what we said to each other on those threads. Maybe a moderator can still read them. Luckily the first package he sent me was perfect ( the books inside were great, the box was a lot larger than them though), but as I said before it had no insurance ( it's not available for first class), which was too risky for a $430 transaction. The second time I asked for priority, but as before he didn't sent them via priority, but first class. This is the tracking of the first package I got: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tRef=fullpage&tLc=1&tLabels=LC938608577US And this is the second which is on his route to my house: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tRef=fullpage&tLc=1&text28777=&tLabels=Lc519078875us They clearly say it is a First Class Package International Shipping, which doesn't even have italian tracking. Priority does have Italian tracking, this is why I wanted the packages to be shipped via Priority. I hope the package arrives safely here. I'll add these links to my main post #7772913 at page 2508. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
  13. Hello guys! I'm writing this post because I had a problem with an user named sslim66 We had two transactions. I was the buyer, he was the seller. The first one included 3 books for $380 + shipping. I asked for a priority mail international with insurance shipping to Europe. He agreed and told me shipping cost $50, then I paid and he sent the books. However, he did not sent the books via Priority and did not put insurance. He also declared a $45 value. Luckily I got the package and everything was fine but one thing: the shipping cost $26 instead of $50. Also, the box he sent me was a box he had received from another guy, so he didn't have to pay for buying it. When I was about to ask him for a refund of the difference between $50 and $26 he told me he had lost his job, so if I wanted to purchase some more books I'd have been welcome. I purchased a few other books from him because I thought he needed money and asked again for a priority shipping. I didn't want to pay $50 and be fooled again, so I told him the shipping with priority should have cost around $39 because I got some other books shipped via Priority for $39. He said it was ok, so I paid and he shipped a few days later. He said he shipped first class for $35, and at that moment I got a little bit angry, since it was the second time he didn't ship with the method I told him to ship. I asked for a $4 refund, but he said it was for gas + box. Then I told him that he made me pay $50 instead of $26 for the first transaction's shipping, but he just ignored me and left the conversation. I haven't received the last package yet. I'm asking for a $24 refund for the first transaction + some dollars refunding the difference between the cost of the last transaction's shipping and what I paid, which is surely at least 4$, since I paid $39 and he said the shipping cost $35. I asked for the posts receipt of the last shipping, but he hasn't answered yet. Here is some pics which prove that I'm saying the truth: First transaction: http://postimg.org/image/4lxko4cnp/ http://postimg.org/image/4bq24ry1h/ http://postimg.org/image/t7jhs9kph/ ( Removed a part of his address and his surname) http://postimg.org/image/omxbdc105/ ( In this one he says he had lost his job... Which is hard to believe because he's still buying comics) Tracking of the package ( It clearly says First Class) Second transaction: http://postimg.org/image/ucdjxn76d/ http://postimg.org/image/4uv5e1pg5/ http://postimg.org/image/hnj9dz11x/ Tracking of the package ( It clearly says first class) I wrote a post on his kudos thread saying he had fooled me. He wrote some bad posts as well on my kudos thread and his one, which I answered to. Then we started talking privately and he also started insulting me: http://postimg.org/image/ox4twofmd/ Then I told Architecht about what happened and he suggested me to write on this thread and deleted my and slim66's kudos threads. I'd like to get my money back, but if this won't be possible at least I have told the board what he's done and maybe you can do something for stopping him fooling and insulting people again. EDIT: Second package arrived. As expected, the user paid just $29,70 http://postimg.org/image/aqznf1yc5/ The books were perfect luckily. I paid $39 and he told me he had paid $35, taking $4 for the box and bubble wrap.
  14. 1,148 (thumbs u Thanks! How do you know that? By the way, what would be a fair price for buying it? eBay prices don't look fair to me, but I could be wrong.
  15. Does anyone know what's the estimated print run of Walking Dead 127 Diamond Retailer Sketch Variant? The prices on eBay are ridiculous and there are too many of them.
