  1. I agree that the feedback wasn't the most settling but the writing kept me out of the action. I'd love to find a high grade copy with no writing.
  2. Scott purchased a few books from me and start to finish it was a stellar transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to have a transaction with his again. Thanks again Scott! Kelly
  3. Interior of issue 15 For some reason I don't anticipate them hitting eBay.
  4. The words 'High Grade' & 'Newsletter' should never be used in one sentence That may be very well true. It's been a mission for quite some time. Only two on the census so far with a high of 9.4 Yet I'm shooting for a little higher.
  5. I believe I know who it is but I'll shoot you a PM just to make sure. I really appreciate it!
  6. Congrats on the buy, awesome addition! I've been searching for a high grade newsletter for quite some time.
  7. I recently picked up a slab off of Jerome and it was an outstanding transaction. Good price, fast and secure shipping. I'd buy from Jerome again without question!
  8. For all I know it will be a $1000 book in six months. Crazy times. Definitely not a book I want though.
  9. Here's a 9.9 #14 for the registry crowd... http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8974307#Post8974307 (Not mine and I do not know the seller that I'm aware of)
  10. Is this the closest any publisher has gotten to producing a 1 of a kind variant? Seriously, we can count on 2 hands the number of retailers who can order 4,999 copies of a single issue of a comic book. Certainly not a sign that a crash or correction is imminent. In addition to that: Seller right now = Buyer in five years (possibly five minutes after purchase) = There are 2 of these up for auction on eBay and I guarantee they are going to go for much, much less than this copy sold for. I would believe/hope they would. At this point the first buyer might as well buy them all if he's considering the first purchase as an investment to corner the "market". I'm guessing it wasn't for the cover art. I'm pretty sure for that price the OA can be had. Possibly delivered by Chip in a banana costume.

  12. Very tough book in 9.8 universal. I think it was a great price for the seller and buyer, congrats to both!
  13. I love to be educated when the opportunity knocks. Many people on these boards have decades of experience seeing so called "hot" books come and go. It's not unwise to listen to all points of views. I honestly don't care what you spend your money on or how you see something as an investment. No reason at all to be defensive or attack others comments because you don't agree with them.
  14. It's a conversation. Nothing more and nothing less, all sides are always welcomed to be heard. Especially ones that involve the possible manipulation of the price of a book due to bogus sales. It would help others here become aware that the price may not be legit and may be best to wait it out until they move onto another book to manipulate. I appreciate it, even though I don't own one or plan to buy one.
  15. I agree they should but I'm unaware of how listing books with them works. May be worse that the seller appears to be trying to pass it off as a first print with that price tag. It's also another for Voldmort.
  16. Warning: The link below is to a Bone #1 9.8 "voldemort" I'm posting this as it is not identified as a Fifth Printing as it should be and didn't want a boardie to purchase it unknowingly. As well ask if it's the norm for the other company to not correctly identify the printing number in the label? I missing something? http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch%5Fadv%2Easp%3Fall%3Dy%26TITLE%3DBone%26TITLEOPT%3DALL%26ISSUE%3D%26Condition%3D%26ConditionTo%3D%26CensusRank%3D%26SearchPageQuality%3D%26Pedigree%3D%26PRICEF%3D%26PRICET%3D%26DESCRIPTION%3D%26DESCRIPTIONOPT%3DALL%26SearchRemarks%3D%26SearchCGC%3D%26EXCLUDE%3D%26CATEGORIES%3D%2D1%26WCATEGORIES%3D%2D1%26SORT%3DCATEG%26%5Fwhere%5Fforsale%3Dy%26%5Fwhere%5Fauctions%3Dy%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26where%5Fforsale%3Dy&id=1089317
