Have you ever checked out estatesales.net ? I look it over every once and a while and locate upcoming sales with comics listed with pics. The search function is very useful to narrow down your search to specific items and distance from your zip code.

I'd love a traffic heavy "What new books did you read this week to recommend" thread in hopes of coming across great reads I haven't stumbled upon for new releases. Yet I fear it would fall victim to hype books quite a bit.

Very little risk for a guaranteed reward, you'll do very well as I'm sure those selling right now are. Side note: Did I seriously just write a sentence with over 60 words?! My apologies for that train wreck.

Genuine questions an I also have not watched WD trends closely. Does the market not get too crowded and level out/decline when new characters air on the show? This may differentiate from character to character however and the likes of Negan may be the exception but overall does the spec crowd not wind up hurting the highs on TV show spec books come air time due to those who get in panic mode and undercut with lower and lower BINS's in addition to the amount of people waiting for said time? I don't know the amount of impulse buyers for WD related characters who wind up on the show. If yes at all then is it not the best bet to sell as the hype is trending upward rather than hoping on a greater payout in the future?

This is similar to the Silk #1 ComicsPro that demanded quite a premium compared to several of her first appearance copies. I'm not too sure if that the case though offhand.

Sometimes I think to myself "I'd really like to own that WD OA" and then quickly follow that thought with "Nah, James probably owns it already". Sharing is caring.

That is by far my favorite DD statue I've seen. I love everything about it down to the base. Very nice choice!

It is a great idea. The only issue is that the people that sorely need some feedback about their sales threads are going to typically be the last people to look for and/or accept any feedback. Anyway, maybe tweaking your idea and putting it into a new seller advice thread that is stickied to the top of every selling forum could be beneficial for those that are here for more than money. There's also a few who actually appear to agree with the feedback and then don't make the requisite changes suggested by that feedback I'll get to photobucket and increased scan sizes next go around.

Way to go guys straightening out what appears to have been a simple misunderstanding so smoothly.

Post it in the "Hey buddy, can you spare a grade" thread. You'll get some really good idea of what it may grade by CGC. May not get much traffic in this thread for an idea of a grade.

I really like the idea of a possible stickied advice thread as an option to the idea. If anything is to come of the idea at all that may be the one that would most likely be the most comforting for sellers to look at rather than a review my sale thread.

Thank you very much for the feedback! I know I've been dragging my feet on learning the most appropriate way of posting scans. Most likely out of my fear of technology and my lack of patience that goes with the learning process but it is time. I debated launching my scanner out the window trying to figure that out . I will definitely take your advice and step it up in that department.

Thank you for the feedback about the idea. I could imagine it getting a little harsh at times if some who partake in it cannot accept the criticism either due to not wanting to hear it or the delivery. I don't mind keeping something like this in private PM's for myself personally but have seen a few sellers who I don't think that's an option due to being so new to the boards. I have a thought/question for you all in regards to sales threads. Recently I asked a few friends via PM to look over my sales thread for feedback on the formatting, prices, grades, etc. I then thought a possible "Review my sales thread" thread may be useful to some who would like to improve upon a sales thread they have up and running by tweaking things as needed due to feedback outside of the thread. I know it most likely wouldn't wind up being for the weak at heart but for those who would appreciate some constructive criticism it may be a quite useful and board improving thread. Rather than little digs in a sales thread or an all out krap, a simple PM with a link to the review thread may be all that's needed. Not to mention I'm sure a few would have a ball in a thread like this. The feedback I received was greatly appreciated and I know some are even newer than I on the boards and possibly don't know where to turn and wind up getting krapped. This is definitely an awesome community and if it may help the boards/boardies it may be a great addition. The first page could possibly have a list of suggestions appropriate for what is to be sold, such as lots, $1 books, etc. (I'm definitely not the one for that job) Please feel free to tell me it's a horrible idea, it's already created and I'm too big a noob to find it, or any other thoughts on the idea. This is definitely not a troll and if no one in this thread looked at my thread after reading this I'd be relieved . Just thought it may help some out.
