  1. Here's the link from comicsheatingup.net for those interested in the prints. Priced very nice! http://comicsheatingup.net/2015/02/02/enormous-signed-prints/
  2. I would have done the same. I place a SIP 9.8 above any SW SS 9.8 any day. May be due to being a huge fan of SIP, however I'm not into actor signed books anyway but some really appreciate them.
  3. The $1703 price was high compared to very recent GPA's but honestly didn't shock me. When others were shelling out hundreds for just one raw new series variant it may have justified the selling price to some since it's the original #1 and decades old. Only way I can wrap my head around it anyway. I'm sure the movie on its way plays a part and buyers are trying to get it now before the movie is released as well. Yet like 9.8 said the movies been in the works for many years.
  4. Congrats and welcome! I was literally minutes away from accepting a counter on it to be my SS's friend. I'm glad it went to a new club member!
  5. Pretty sure Star Wars is a bit (by bit I mean by a great deal) more popular across the globe than Harley and Batman Adventures #12 doesn't have too many less 9.8's on the census and it's going for a little more. I would think even more BA 12's will be popping up, not so sure many have been holding on on stabbing SW's for decades since its been a several hundred dollar book for quite some time. Maybe it's due to it spawning from a movie and not an original creation within the comic world? Who knows though, def not me.
  6. Finally have a 9.8 headed on my way! It's been on my list for far too long. Side note, last time I checked I saw 303 9.8's on the census. With as many die hard Star Wars fans in existence and many of them also collect comics like myself, is 303 really common as dirt?
  7. Check out these Enormous goodies... http://comicsheatingup.net/2015/01/30/signed-enormous-prints-coming-to-comicsheatingup-net/
  8. Jason is a top notch boardie. Purchased a FF 52 slab from me and the entire transaction was perfect!
  9. Here's a cheap one, over 30 available? http://www.ebay.com/itm/141558287662?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  10. That's going to be like mission impossible to determine IMO. It can't be all that high due to the recall and I'm sure some are never going to be let go by serious SW collectors. I'd think If a majority of them were picked up before being pulled we'd be seeing way more on ebay than right now.
  11. I'm not too sure about conventions but I saw the team is doing a signing at Heroes in Charlotte in a few weeks. I'd be interested in tracking down anyone attending who may be offering SS slab services myself.
  12. Thank you in advance for leaving Kudos for purchases (mostly) and sales.
  13. Oh yeahhh... I just thought of these Hot Topic employees folding them and stuffing them in envelopes. 9.8's are going to be a tough find.
  14. I'm leaning towards this one being my favorite cover so far that I've come across. I was really looking forward to the AH but just didn't wow me. Anyone know how many variants are to be released?
  15. possibly. Yet I think they were supposed to tear off the covers and send them back to the head office or something. Next we will see ones with no covers popping up.
  16. I saw that, this one caught fire real quick. I'd guess once managers come in and keep on tearing off covers after a few Hot Topic employees get in trouble for snagging a few across the land or trading the for vampire bites they will start getting even more scarce and go up even higher. Guess we'll see real soon.
  17. Out of curiousity I gave CGC a call on the recall and they said if the entire run of the variant has been recalled and I belive it has then it would most likely be designated the recalled label.
  18. Called several Hot Topics around Houston and they all said they had to pull them off the shelves.
