  1. Anyone know the print runs of the variants for #1? I believe the Heroes Con is 1000 I'd guess the Forbidden is the same? Unsure of CBLDF? Just not sure where to acquire that info.
  2. They look truly amazing. As much as I'd love to scoop the entire lot I'm kind of hoping they limit it to one per customer. Issue #4 is my favorite and as many more readers get to enjoy it the better. They don't however need shirts...I'll take them all please.
  3. I'm excited for the news from AMC stating they have realized the market is zombie saturated and decided to make the correct decision to bring ENORMOUS to the small screen and pull the plug on The Walking Dead spinoff.
  4. I think everyone is really going to dig issue #4. The character development is spot on and the last few pages leave you itching for issue #5 immensely!
  5. That's a great question, what is up with all the negativity? If you don't like the book or see no future in it negative comments are completely useless in threads. Plenty of books out I'm not into that others are but I see no reason to drop in those threads hating on the book. It's immature and useless. Let us enjoy the thread as we do the book without the peanut gallery dropping in with the hopes of saying "told ya so" one day. I'm a fan, I read it and look forward to it because it's top notch in my opinion. Take the hate elsewhere. Most of us want the best for the book and it's creators because we support it. Any added value plays a part for some but that's not a factor I'm concerned about at all, taking away from any childish "told ya so" comments in a year. Tim is awesome, and Medhi produces mind blowing artwork. That's what I look forward to and appreciate.
  6. If $15 for an extremely accessible first print off eBay is too much what is the definition of a collector? I never thought a collector was defined by the ability to find a comic on a shelf at cover. This thread is over 90 pages because quite a few collectors have heard of it, no? Maybe I'm missing something.
  7. It's no ones fault it was missed by quite a few shops. 215 Ink is a smaller publisher, and sadly many shops stick with Marvel, DC, Image, and very seldom others. It's reasonable, if a shop has certain clientele they must cater to them rather than gambling on filling the shelves with smaller print run books that may sit. Unfortunate so many readers are not exposed to such amazing smaller print run books such as Enormous yet it makes sense. I'm based in Houston and finding one on the shelves was mission impossible but it's being ordered now by the shop owners. These shops that missed it completely do all have plenty of time to order the trade though.
  8. I believe the next Phantoms drop next week, on 9/10/14 if I'm not mistaken.
  9. I agree, both the Special Edition covers are awesome. I'm partial to the black and white cover myself, lower print run is also a plus. Trying to get my LCS on board with the Phantom program. Kudos to Larry for getting more Phantoms available!
  10. Me too! My Hastings order did not arrive in very stellar condition.
  11. eBay is not the boards so we will see how much heat falls upon this one. No, it's not my book. http://www.ebay.com/itm/151401180940?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  12. Is around $10-$15 for a first issue off eBay too much money?! Seriously!?
  13. I'd say that it's catching on more and more. Most shops in my area are ordering it due to so many people asking for it. That and the quality of the work itself is undeniable. This is not a comparison, just a reference...Bone is a pretty hot book that the masses didn't know about for a long time.
  14. More live action hint and NYCC variants, anyone else hearing "Today was a good day" by Ice Cube?
  15. Interview with Ryan below, above is GHA review. http://comicsheatingup.net/2014/08/05/fuel-on-the-fire-a-comics-heating-up-interview-with-ryan-browne/

  17. I can't wait to watch (fingers crossed) this come to life one day in a life action format. Even if a follow up to the web pilot, I'd log on and watch weekly!
