  1. Curiosity of the great collector minds. What's the guesstimate auction sale for the following covers when the slabs appear? Specs welcome on both pre media news and after. 1) Cover A (5,656 A & B combined print run) 2) Cover B 3) Hastings (800 print run) 4) Phantom (544 print run)
  2. The hasting variants are pretty reasonable on eBay right now considering Hastings had them posted for $4.99 plus $3.99 each for shipping. With no combined shipping offer. Especially since only 800 were printed according to their site.
  3. WOW, Jennifer Lawrence (J Law) in discussions with studio for lead role in Enormous films!
  4. Thanks to CHU for the intel...Hastings variants are back up live on their site for $4.99
  5. That's how I feel about all the Enormous books, with such small print runs on such a solid book. Even all going over double cover seams low to me. Especially knowing this could develop into a whole lot more then a comic and one online live action episode.
  6. Food for thought on how to dominate marketing and sales. 1) Release a one shot. 2) Create pilot based off the one shot knowing a continued series is on it's way. 3) Put together a stellar first issue a little before SDCC. With a buzz worthy low print run. 4) Drop a bomb of news at SDCC. 5) TV series, McFarlane quality toys (Awesome!), etc to follow! Genius!
  7. Why keep posting in here if you are not a fan of the book? Why post comments about someone's stale remarks that have nothing to do with enormous? Take it elsewhere, I enjoy the book and until this the thread as well.
  8. I just read Enormous again and was just as pleased as the first read, excited me even more for the second. As good as the art is the story got me. As much as a fan I am of TWD the mindless shuffling zombies always took away from the extremely well executed character developments. That's just me though, monsters of fury always called out to me more. If it's a debate to pick up or not, it's a good read, hype aside. If it turns into something huge cool, if not I'm still gonna enjoy it and wish the best for the Enormous team.
  9. Mondo 3 vanishes off eBay! Nice grab whoever "Jimmy"
  10. It's nice to know Tim Daniel has stated it will be on time, I can't wait for the second issue!
  11. Excellent point CBT, you are right. I did overlook that once a mint book hits many collectors hands it's not read by another to enjoy. Luckily we have second prints, yet I know that doesn't cut it for several reader/collectors.
  12. What's all the complaining about? If you don't like what you're reading get out of the thread. No rant will change the masses. Do books get hyped for profit at times, indeed they do. Coming in blasting a book or posts is ridiculous, even petty. I liked the book, and will continue to read it. Some people pick up Saga and say its yet in my opinion it's the best book out right now. I've also been a super fan of books like Too Much Coffee Man and The Tick and will continue to be a fan of them. No hype pushed me to overpay for a book, like all of us we have brains of our own. Bedlam wasn't for me after flipping through it so I passed, no matter a quick profit or not. I support books I feel are good reads. The boards are not broken and definitely do not need to be lectured to. Like a book, then say it, give updates, get excited! If you don't like the book or are bitter you missed a quick buck then move along.
  13. The art is as on point as can be in my opinion. Many books have a huge following that don't come close to Enormous. A buzz is just a buzz at times, I feel differently about this one. I dug the first issue. Add in a print run of the standard A and B covers of probably under 4000, only 800 Hasting variants, and a measly 544 Phantoms. That boasts well for many day one explosions in the long run. I'm actually baffled people are letting them go already, but hey I may be nuts.
  14. Any predictions on the price for the different covers when they come back from CGC?
  15. Third Eye was selling the Phantom. Numbers out now are 544 Phantoms and 800 Hastings printed.
  16. This book is flying off eBay as a buy it now. Now that all the Third Eye and Hasting books are gone from standard prices it's creeping higher and higher in price. Beautiful thing, a well deserved one being such a great book.
