  1. the uniforms are (somewhat) similar between the Redcoats and the Mexican army as seen in this painting
  2. yeah i realize now that it is not an Alamo cover ,,, but it sure looks like the final stages of the Alamo with Davey Crockett holed up at the end (instead of the bed-ridden Jim Bowie)
  3. i always check his booth out at the Motor City Comic Con , he has a ton of hard to find books and he is a great guy
  4. i was astounded everytime i watched his show back then, he made it look so easy !
  5. a great WAR comic ! featuring the final stages of The Alamo (or maybe not)?
  6. wow! i never seen this Alamo cover before !!! 5.5-6.0 ish - great book !
  7. sold a few of mine (RUSH, Van Halen) about 8 years ago for $40 each , just checked on them and they are now bringing $70 each so no regrets
  8. 1950's war comics

    Jane 30

these Jane books (which i have never heard or seen before) have nice covers !
  9. ok thanks , that pick was a real head scratcher... in this entire thread, comparing which to like of those two books Patsy Walker #11 and Avengers #144 was the most obvious no brainer in the entire thread !! how on earth anyone would rather have that super common Avengers book instead of a very tough Patsy Walker issue is hard to comprehend
  10. are you saying A-Team #1 is worth something ?? i have them all 1-3 i think from when i bought them off the rack but i figured they weren't worth squat
  11. wow ! ?? just wow ! , this might just be the worst/best example of drek i have ever seen , !! how did this get past the editors ??
  12. dreck /drek/ noun INFORMAL noun: drek rubbish; trash. "this so-called comic is pure dreck"
