  1. that is awesome which machine is the easiest and which one hardest for you in your collection ? back in my teens there was some machines that i could rack up free games with ease! even getting up to the then maximum of 25 free games !! we would do that on our favorites and then sell the machine to someone in the arcade for a dollar ! which was a great deal for both of us
  2. i would have said 3.5, but if Voldy gave it a 3.0 it must be a CGC 2.5
  3. i was a huge Larry Bird fan back in the day and would buy his stuff , i still have some of it including this ball i bought in 1988 and kept in nice condition ever since
  4. WOW your basement has more machines than the pinball arcade did back in my teen years .... do you have any Bally machines from the late 70's ?? back in the day me and my buds knew a trick to use on Bally's .. you would take a nickel and slowly drop it into the coin slot , eventually sometimes it would stick and not drop through ... when it did stick then you dropped two pennies in behind it and the second penny would give you two credits !!!

  6. maybe so .. but if i am looking for a comic on eBay and i type in Atomic age , i am never going to find it .... many and all great comic books would slip by.. sorely disappointing 99% of the collector base.... a collector would be deeply disappointed and missing out on their want lists using the term Atomic age
  7. i would actually like to read that story about the kid striking out Superman ... and that cover shows you how popular Mickey Mantle was as he had been retired for a couple years when that comic came out .... i wonder if @kav has read the story and if so how did the kid strike out Superman ??
  8. it does appear that Supes #201 did swipe Spidey #50 as the former came out 11/67 and the later came out 7/67
  9. so many great Swan covers to pick from ... this is a memorable one ... Superman #201
  10. yep with this key issue ...drugs kicked off the Bronze age
  11. if that is the case i would be willing to buy each of those issues from you at the double the common price that the issue immediately before and after each of those issues sell for
  12. the cover speaks for the itself and the price even in just VG signifies it is a key issue in the series
  13. 2019 - First Marvel Comics Issue Sells in Texas for a Record $1.26 Million Heritage says the buyer wished to remain anonymous Published at 4:50 pm on November 21, 2019
  14. @kav this is a great thread despite the negative posts ,...thanks for starting the thread ....
  15. Another Strange Adventures ... number #50...what a great series to collect !! tough issue, no recent sales on eBay and none for sale currently.... worth $400 in VG 4.0 does that make it a key most would say a very big YES
