  11. Shipping: Certified books, shipping is included FREE within North America, ROW we split it. Raw books, include $10 for shipping within North America. ROW I will split with interested parties. Who wins: Time stamp seals the deal as to who wins regardless of the form of communication (including PM, in the thread, text or phone conversation). A negotiation is not a deal until both sides have agreed on terms. If there is an unconditional posted (or communicated) it will trump all negotiations unless we have already both agreed to terms before the was posted. In that case, the will have been in vain. Except that it will give you street cred and look cool to passers by. No House Of Shame or Probationary members or any others of ill repute. Returns: I am considered a very good grader among my peers ( Here is a link to my kudos thread ) but since even CGC is inconsistent I will not guarantee a CGC grade. I will guarantee to be within one grade increment in either direction - so if I am calling the book a 9.4 it could go 9.2 or 9.6. If it falls outside of those parameters (and it does happen that they go in both directions), I will offer a refund. But I don't expect anyone to complain if I undergraded it. I will accept returns if item is otherwise not as described. Consider all books pressed. Pricing: I try to price books close to fair market value. I am open to offers but it's not very likely I'm going to be accepting offers at 30% off fair market value.
  12. Bingo. Kirby was the person I thought of as well that transcended all eras and emotional attachment. That totally makes sense. I was born in 1970 and didn't start following until the late 1970's while I was in grade school so that would have been as Arnold, Sergio Olivia etc were starting to peak. Flash is a great example as well. 3 STARS!
  13. He was very reasonable. His office was shut down due to a Covid breakout so it couldn't be delivered and what was worse was there were mixed messages as to what happened to the package. Tracking said it was at his local PO but a hand written note said it was returned to me, the sender. After 3 months we were ready to call it a loss and the receiver even offered to cover some of the loss (God bless him, you don't run into people like that anymore) and then one day it just turned up back at my PO Box. It's in his hands now but it was a very nerve wracking 3 months.
  14. Couriers were relatively reliable for me until Christmas hit. But the postal service has been delayed since the start of the pandemic. Thankfully, they are still reasonably reliable. I had a package go missing for 3 months and it still turned up eventually.
  15. I never could come to like Curt Swan's art. It really does matter WHEN you're introduced to the artist. If you were a Superman fan as a kid you're going to have an emotional attachment. I couldn't get over how wide Superman's waist always was. As someone who followed bodybuilding, his Supes just wasn't as virile enough for me.
  16. Christmas delays, Covid, etc etc. Expect disastrous delays. I ship using overnight courier sometimes and I've had 2 shipments delayed in 2 days. The reason? Large volume slowing things down. Just factor that in whenever you ship something regardless of the carrier.
