People consider ads as first appearances now?
Comic speculation is just getting silly Although I just got the first appearance of the beagle boys, and after reading it, they appear in exactly 1 panel of the book. So I guess if you consider WDC 134 the first appearance of the beagle boys, then hulk 180 should be the first wolvie.
And rockmyamadeus is spot on. I started reading late 80's/early 90's, and paying over cover price for a book wasnt so much that I wanted to collect it, but that I really wanted to read it and that was usually the only way how.

In 2015 I finished off my Caliber Crow 1-4 run sig series.

Damn, look at those shelves buckle from the weight. Wise move to change, I’m sure you miss the display though. How many books is this? I know someone with about 600 graded books in just one series and I can’t wrap my head around how much space that would take up,

Not nearly as nice as some of the copies in this thread.. but with all the hype focused on GSX1, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get into the club with its bigger brother. Have been eyeing this book for a while, and wanted to make sure I got it before it gets out of reach like so many other silver age key first issues. Of all of them I think this is the most undervalued, and thus has enormous potential... and even if that never happens, still happy to have it. 😂
