  1. There are many of those old ('70s) Weird/Horror/Voodoo mags with spiders crawling on women, but I seem to recall I saw one with a vampire(?) actually dumping spiders out of a bucket onto a woman. I can't seem to locate it though, which makes me think my teenage self was full of ___. Here's an example of the type of mag I'm talking about.
  2. Is there an advantage to having a dealer sub your books for you?
  3. I have no idea what it cost, it was a bday gift. Couldn't have been more than a few bucks, though ... us young teenagers didn't have much moola. I remember my dad would tell me that if I cleaned his office (he owned a body shop), he would give me 50 cents so I could go buy a couple of funny books.

  5. Wouldn't it be cool if, just once, someone from CGC (preferably a higher-up) came in here and explained how something like this happened? Instead, all we've ever gotten was "Sorry 'bout that. Here's a label to ship it back to us free of charge. What's that? You want to know how it happened in the first place? Did I mention the shipping is free of charge?"
  6. Ever wonder why it's called 'Good Girl Art' and not 'Bad Girl Art'?

  9. Was he waiting for an invoice with combined shipping?
  10. Are all the value stamp pics pulled from a comic?
  11. CGC has made dozens of bs decisions over the years. This 2 weeks to fix their mistake bs is one of the worst.
  12. Sheesh. Those can't even be explained away by that "grading is subjective" mantra that's thrown around here ad nauseam.
  13. I just sold an Avengers 'tailor' in my sales thread. thread
  14. It's usually a different question from me... "How can that book be a 9.9, but this book isn't?"
