Yikes 600 dollar threshold. Well so much for the online garage sale. 10k even 5k seem a lot more reasonable thresholds. It is a lot of extra work to make somebody report the income and then go over each sale to see if they made a profit. At 600 bucks they probably didn't make any money at all.

It has been a while since I submitted. How long does it take to show up as received in the system? It was delivered on 2/19 via USPS. Modern Fast Track submission.

First issue of Secrets and Lies was solid. I'll have to give Galaxies a shot, passed on it with the main series being so boring.

Yeah those Heath Sea Devil covers are sweet. Slow working on a run of them.

Yeah I liked the original series a lot, it was one of few DC series I got back in my Marvel Zombie days. Never was able to get the whole series but the Janus Directive arc was cool. Plan on reading the whole series now that I have DC Universe. Plus other 80s titles I missed out on; Captain Atom, Firestorm, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, The Question, etc.

I don't own any...unless Superman: The Golden Age, vol 1 counts.
Though 7 is out of reach for me, I could maybe do a 13 someday.

What it is not realistic to hang off your burning plane and fire your .45 at your pursuer. I will say nobody better in the era than Heath in realism of the tanks, ships and planes.

I just reread the old Great Darkness Saga from the copper age and the Darkseid War a few weeks ago. Great stuff! Been waiting for Grail to pop, but I have yet to see much action and have not seen her in any comics since her initial appearance.
Legion of Super Heroes and Teen Titans, best DC reading material of the early 80s.

I like to bend them and eat some greasy food before reading them.

Next up JLA #40 and #41 featuring the 1st and 1st full appearance of Grail. She is Darkeseid’s daughter and a well designed character to boot. Half New God and half Amazon. She is immensely powerful in almost every way plus it seems she can fire off Omega beams. In other words, she is one super scary villain. Perfect addition to an upcoming movie in my opinion. The aretwork is outstanding for her entire run.
I like both books but #40 was the winner out of the gate. Now it seems people are actively seeking both books and the price they will pay has narrowed in difference. The incentive cover to #40is gorgeous but it’s price does not seem to reflect its rarity yet.
I own 2 CGC 9.8 of #40 plus 1 NM+ raw. I also own 3 NM+ raw of #41 and 3 of each of this run up to #50.
Ratings
#40 and 41
Raw NM = 7 out of 10
CGC 9.8 = 8 out of 10
JL Darkseid War was a great read.

I enjoyed it, picked up the Yasmine Putri variant. Though the main cover was tempting too. Should be a fun series.

Dang missed the cut-off but my choices:
Battle 38
War 11
Navy Action 6
Combat 5
Navy Action 4
Honestly I could have picked another 5 easily!

A couple of posts back I showed my OAAW #198. Bumped into it at a flea market for a couple of bucks. Had it as a kid and it has always been one of my favorite covers in this run. Got to thinking how I'd like to have a higher grade copy slabbed. Went on the bay and found 30 copies of this book. Only one slabbed at $56 with free postage in 8.0. Snatched it because it looked so pretty.
I love SA books. They are the books of my youth but just not that fun to collect anymore due to the ease of obtaining them. I prefer the challenge of the GA nowdays but sure love having a nice slabbed copy to appreciate this cool Kubert black cover!
Nice pickup. One of my favorite Rock covers.

So with Loki wrapping up is it worth the watch? I did watch the first two and found it kind of boring and lost interest.
